I like that they’re from really deep in the ground. I actually think they look better with glowy eyes and look very weird
I am a sucker for edginess and they are the edgiest of the gnomes so I can get it.
I'd probably play one as the original mounted Beast Master Ranger with Svirfneblin Magic. Disguise Self & Stealth can come in handy and eventually share it with the Ranger's Companion.
Ok but you u would still have to be a gnome. Could you really be happy? Just kidding. The mounted ranger is so wild. It turned into a part of the Drake warden.

So, two questions: what’s your favorite race, and why do you dislike the small ones?
I actually like the small races, and deep gnomes in particular.
My favorite race is the yuan ti. I just love them so much. There lore is cool. There horrific to everything but if you show snake like anything they will bring you into their fold. Like it’s so cold, so manipulative, and just inherently ambitious.
The small races. They started out just being really annoying. Then eventually after learning more about them and really trying to consider them as a character I’d play it turns my stomach. They annoy me in all mediums so it’s not just D&D lol.
Don’t get me wrong I never discourage anyone from playing them. Nor would I give someone a hard time about playing one. It’s just my personal preference. There’s a guy I play with that I love playing with, and he almost always is a small character.
@@TheSinisterheroes No worries. I like the Yuan Ti as well. I’ve got one waiting in the wings now for AL, an Enchantment Wizard.

I hate gnomes so there all kinda the same to me.
