Hey Rocky! We're happy you found this helpful! We'll try to post more about car fixes and what not if we can. We usually just post about our travels and car events.
hi! i am trying to change my q60’s oil for the first time. can i do it how u did it? i read the bolt or something needs to be tighten to meet infiniti’s specs. do u know what that means? thanks!
You don’t have to jack up the car and no need to remove tires. Just turn wheel all the way, you will have enough space to remove panel and creep underneath. Been doing it for years now. Have a blessed day y’all 👍😇
hi! i have a ? i was looking up how to do an oil change on my q60. i read online there is a certain way to tighten something (bolts? im not sure i dont remember) but to certain infiniti specs. and if u dont it will destroy the engine. please tell me what this means???? i need to do it asap
Bro you can put 2x4s before the ramps to get ur car to clear the ramp. Also im pretty sure u dont have to remove the whole splash shield to change your oil, the first 4 bolts on the front should be enough to where the crease is at to access the filter and drain plug..
@@lexy_boo I change oil on the side for extra money and this guy had a stripped oil drain plug, and he had to get it towed to the dealership and couldn’t drive it for a week
Bro pls do more DIY on this car. Nobody on RUclips is doing it & I plan on doing stuff myself such as oil change, breaks, calipers, etc

Bro, it’s never a good practice to use hammer on ratchet, risking damage the tool and round up the bolt. Use a fixed wrench. Tnx , nice video.
I leave the drain bolt off until after I remove the oil filter. Then I go backwards. Put in new oil filter then the drain bolt.

What I would recommend is jacking the vehicle up and sliding the ramps under the tires. Just having it on the ramps always makes me feel safer.

Oh! It’s cool video! Thanks a lot!!!!
Thank you Mr Jackie Chan chin
Did you reset your oil & oil filter meter?
Very clutch bro!
What kind of filter is it
Great job. I will do mine
Wil it void the warranty if I change oil myself?
No, just use correct oil weight in your manual and OEM filter to be safe.
very helpful bro
Yeah, I took off my plastic engine cover and left it off. A chore to fuss with and probably retains heat.
