- It's that time of year again. 🥩 We're starting the process of getting calves off of feed and to the freezer for ourselves and our customers. The geldings are working their way through strangles. On a lighter note, we had some good luck this weekend at a jackpot and on a sweet note, we got to visit with some awesome people and are officially full on ice cream.🙃 Stay tuned for a creamery and dairy tour later this year! The gift is a work of art for sure. I'm sure a lot more time went into that than you'll ever know. I think it is made from maple and black walnut, turn on a lathe by hand, then all the detail pictures, done on a laser. I also think it's not a bowl, but a light fixture. Correct me if I'm wrong, but sure looks like a light in it would really light up the pictures. Give more credit to the maker, we'd like to see more of his work. Whichever it is, treasure it.
I have been supporting your channel for a few years and love every video. Watching the family enjoy farming, as I did, I'm now 80, and off the farm, brings back fond memories of days gone by. Thank you so very much. Your Christian Testimony is a great blessing to me. Been a Christian 54 years and attended the same Baptist church 41 years. Raised draft ponies and other animals, so I know something about sick animals. The family is a great role model for us all, and I thank you so much. God bless through this year. As a contestant you need to concentrate on participating and NOT on filming so we can see it. It isn't fair to you or your teammates if your focus is divided. You do you and we will be happy with what you give us. We are the ones intruding in your lives. What you show us is a bonus and we are glad if we get a little or ALOT. You keep doing you girl!!!!!

The craftsmanship on that bowl is incredible. That’s going to be a family keepsake. Congratulations on all of your riding skills. You all get better each time. It’s unfortunate that you have to deal with the horse issues but that’s what livestock owners do. Pretty unpleasant at times. Love the video. Already waiting for the next one lol.

Meredith. Weather changes constantly and rain is a big part of it. If it makes mud in areas its muddy. You have wonderful footwear as the mud areas never change unless you make it different.. It's not mud season every day. You are blessed with mud as 1/2 of cattlemen work on brutal frozen conditions and would go barefoot in mud if they could this time of the year. You and your family and horses all, please be well.

Meredith, I’ve always said there are two types of horse owners, ones that have had strangles, and one that’s going to get them. There’s really no way to prevent it completely. Sounds like you’re doing all the right things to me. Thank you so much for your videos, I really enjoy them.

Great to see the horses are moving through the ills. Suggestion get some throw away gloves when around the sick horses. Back in the day when my uncle had dairy cows the vet said it's a good idea to keep virus from spreading. Your new friends I've heard of. Would love to hear LB speak of his life experience. This was a great video and, don't worry about not videoing certain stuff, it's good to just be in the moment sometimes. I get on my wife about that when we have family outings, she always got the camera. You mentioned Don Williams, that actually was my dad's name and, he sung and played guitar. Meredith Saturday I turned on the RFD Channel and the Virginia Farm Bureau show was on , they were featuring a meat processor in Lynchburg. , That had reopen a plant that had been closed for awhile. Local farmer said he likes it because he can take a couple or more cows. and less cost of transport.

Try a straw hat Meredith I had the same problem till I tried a straw hat and they fit pretty good I love the sound of the farmers tractor on cold start ❤
