- It’s bean a long time coming (that pun will never get old in my book), but we finally found a new(er) gleaner to get us through bean harvest! So excited to welcome Gerdie 2.0 to the farm! Hopeful this combine will keep the dust out of Lawrence’s lungs and make harvest smoother all the way around. 🙃 Stay tuned as we get her situated - starting with finding a place to keep her. 😛 We appreciate you being here! Heyyyyyyy! Gertie 2...! I cried once they got the header off and Gertie 2 all assembled...it looks magnificent ! I swear Wesley , YOU are amazing ! They was you directed the movement of the header off the truck was great ! My 99yr old dad keeps saying ...I cannot believe that young man's abilities and knowledge ! And daddy also comments on our Austin's horsing around ! That's quite a gal ! Well...I'm sure y'all know that I can't stop singing your praises ! You're quite a family and we feel like family too ! Seems like it was just last year that Austin was that shy little girl trying to sneak into the camera background. Now she's a near-grown-up cowgirl. And Westley is getting more and more involved in the farm work every day.
That new Gleaner will be a game changer!!
I'm so happy L.B. got the newer G2 every time I pass a newer Gleaner sitting on the side of the road I think about L.B. and wish I could afford to buy it and send it to him. The man works his tail off. The little humans are growing up fast. Good luck and be safe above all this harvest.

I run a Gleaner R52. They are great machines. I've done about 100 acres of corn this week, with no help, hauling it all myself and running the combine. Gabe will give you all the info you need. The brake sticking is common with all combines, they stick from not being used most of the year. It needs a new or rebuilt caliper, and check master cylinders and linkage, so fluid can return. Maintenance points are different for the rotaries, but daily maintenance is MUCH less than the old conventionals. The reverser is wonderful. Keep the reverser chain oiled with chain lube, as it runs all the time, even when not reversing.
Wow! So much new content coming up! Trailer for the head, where to store Gerdie 2, learning to set her up, improved productivity, better yield, and more! So happy for y'all! Tens of thousands of us cheering for you! Thanks for your work!

.... WELL!!!! .... I never even knew that was a thing .. filing the teeth ... not sure what to think about that ... there was definitely no resistance from Hank, was watching the lead and it hung limp the whole time .... buddy seat and great big windows .. gotta love it, pretty sweet .... that's when hydraulic lines are supposed to give, when it is crunch time .. smilin .... thx for the share .. as always Meredith ... never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans .....

I am so happy for y'all with the newer comnine. Y'all put a lot of work in the Gerdie 1 but it did get the job done. The kids are doing so well riding there horses. All the dogs are looking good. Glad seeing Lady doing well. Glad your foot is doing better. I hope y'all have a blessed week.

There are several you tube videos on how to fix your rear view mirror on windshield of your truck. This is a inexpensive fix as you can reuse all parts you have on mirror. It is just a process of cleaning surfaces of metal and windshield. Using epoxy and tape to fix. Good luck ,always enjoy your videos.

Our regular horse veterinarian always floated our horses' teeth when he saw them for their annual exam and vaccinations. And he was never that rough. Ouch. Poor horsies. Reminds me of the dentist I had to go to when I was a kid, who didn't believe in novocaine. You just had to sit there, white knuckle grip the arms of the chair, and pray he would be done soon.
Didn’t realize that was Austin that flew by!! She’s doing so good!! I had to laugh that her hat came off!!
Use some miracle grow soil and mix it up with some of your plants 🪴 you’ll be surprised!

You will love the newer gleaner. It is much easier to work on. It is also me of the cleanest grain sample combines out there. We bought a used R62 three years ago. Been running international for years. I would never go back. When we bought it I had a neighbor tell me “oh you bought a gleaner planter”. I told him I would put it up against his green one anytime. One thing to keep an eye one is the accelerators. We just had to replace the gears on the left side. If the start to clatter it’s time to replace them. Especially if the gears have some chipped teeth.

merdi i haven't seen anyone so perfect.you just fit in no matter what you're doing.your speech is just perfect when you talk.your love and care for your family,people and animals is so obvious.out of all the women i've ever seen you are the most beautiful.it seems that you don't have to do but very little to look that way. i love when that camera is in your face and those eyes wow.to e1 reading this i'm 78yo.kinda decrepid and don't get around too good and not trying make any points.i just feel that way.maybe the farmer won't be up under the new machine as much as with gertie.you're right merdi i'm about proud of it as ya'll are.i can't wait to watch in action.

So happy for you to be able to get the new to you piece of equipment for the farm. I know how you feel my dad was always fixing some piece of equipment until it wouldn't go anymore. I was always out helping my dad fix things.I got so excited when I saw it that I almost cried. Happy for Lawrence it will make life easier for the farm.

WOW! That IS a big occasion! I noticed LB got all dressed up in his "Featureless" Shirt and Jeans for the occasion. Woop, Woop! When he calms down, I'm sure he'll find time to dig into that Owner's Manual. Meanwhile, maybe Gerty 1.0 can park out in front as a Yard Ornament. Not too close to the road or tourists will cover it with spray paint like a bunch of Cadillacs I know of. Welcome Home, Gerty II.

That's really great that Bernard farm got a new combine 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸. It looks in pretty good shape 👌. I can see the the dogs using the rumble seat, you and the kids will have to fight for it 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Austin and Wesley is getting good on the horses 🐎 😀.
