I bought a 1969 Bandmaster chassis with no transformers and no faceplate and I put Dukane 1U460 transformers in it and built a cabinet like a super reverb cabinet with 2x12s. I love it. even with the Dukane transformers. The Dukane trans are standup trans so I pulled the screws and bells have the same screw pattern and fit right in the Fender chassis.
Thanks for the review. I scored my 1968 Bandmaster as a teenager around 1986. It's all original except for a Pyle speaker in the bottom half which gives me great bass tones. As a smooth jazzer I love this amp. Hard to move around which is why I found a Roland JC77, also a sweet amp.
HW, in my early days of playing I purchased a Funeral removal/flower Van to carry my Gear to gigs. Only thing I couldn’t understand was back then my Sound, Sounded kind of Dead😂😂
HW...you love amps and it shows. You have such great enthusiasm. Cant wait for the jbl d- 15 in cab w a blackface bandmaster or other vintage cabs, which make up a big part of the total sound. So bring it on!
What is the speaker configuration of the cab? For all the raving about the cabinet I could not decipher it is an oversized 2x12 or a 4 x 12 or one of the 15" speaker cabs. I've seen 4x10 cabs. So what are we hearing? And what speakers?
I bought these profiles for a Kemper at one time. No other manufacturer has such an amplifier. It's a pity, because I like Black Keys Den Auerbach amps. It would be great to have such a profile for Tonex Ik Multimedia. Is it possible to expect such a miracle?
That sounds great and I'm sure to pick it up but when is the Pro Reverb coming? :-) You've mentioned it several times and it happens to be my favorite Fender amp!

Sounds so much better than the kemper! This video has stopped me from purchasing the kemper. Thanks HW!

I have this same 1969 Amp and Cab. Love it. Ironically I have a early 70's Risson 412 cab That Bob Rissi designed.

Wow that's an incredible tone

Dude now you got me wanting one to compliment my 68-69 Silverface drip-edge Bassman. I just saw a local one with the matching cab…. For $950.
You're crazy! The car switching story is amazing! You can tell you're into tone when you have too many favourites!
I love that amp… I have owned a lot of bandmasters and love them all.
love my Kemper.. but also love my bassman tweed
KOT sounds great too. Makes me want to play.

11:56 Thats the look!!!
Thinking about buying the 1971 bandmaster reverb...would you say it’s worth it to try and find one from the 60’s instead?
had a bunch of Bandmasters :)
Can you profile your slippers?
“I do this so that you dont have to”🤣🤣🤣 Thanks bro!👊🏻
So a nice story!!! You are HW!! the best!! Greetings from germany
Loved story time. Blessings to ya. 🦠
Nice video HW ... 👋🏻 from NY
Dorian Hurodry - hope you’re staying safe!
I have that head with a 2 12s box
What speakers are in one of these cans? Great sound. I have a 1965 Fender Bandmaster but it doesn't sound s full or nice as this amp.
I love my 69 so much I had to get a 68 for a stereo rig.
HW there's ghosting on this video
Content great as always

I’m original owner of a 69. I BF’d it. I like it better. Got my Tele same year.

Agreed 🎶🎶🎶🎸
Big Rick and Morty energy at the start there....
The Silver Jubilee is really your favorite Marshall? That's like saying Buick is my favorite car.
Church... c'mon. Quelle tristesse.
The real pity my friend is when we judge people we don’t know and speak down on them because they are different than us.
You're right but i know you so it's ok.
If you put a Twin Reverb OT in one of these things youve got an amp that SRV could have used.
