haha yes, i am part Norwegian, but believe me, we are just normal humans and we have our own set of issues and daily struggles. Norway is not utopia, although we do have a better standard of general living, but this is due to paying greater taxes. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Btw, not everyone is actually happy either. The lengthy Arctic Winter's can really bring many people down emotionally. Some are lonely too and spend days upon days indoors. Happiness is a state of mind anyway, so wherever you go in the world, you'll find many positive and happier and many not so positive and less happy humans. Just a fact of life. Take care.

I'm part Norwegian and i will put it like this. Norway is one of "many" beautiful countries. It is not the "only" beautiful country. When we travel the world, we come to find this out fairly quickly.
The older I get, and the more I see how the United States is becoming Sodom and Gomorrah 2.0, It makes me really want to go back there where my ancestors came from. Yes, it indeed is the finest set of countries on the face of this entire planet!

As a young child, my family moved to a farm in a small community in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. We were only there a handful of years, but I later learned why the hamlet was named Bergen and all my neighbours were Norwegian. I had been given a rare gift of being surrounded by the culture and ways that were continued by the progeny of the first Norwegian settlers in this area. They were a hardy, hardworking, ingenious people who ALWAYS had time to help their neighbour and it seemed like EVERYONE could either draw beautifully or knew how to play a stringed instrument. This made for many wonderful, impromptu, living room concerts. What an unknown privilege that I'm glad I finally came to appreciate. Thanks for a look at where they all originated from. Another great "armchair" trip. LLR
What I love about videos like this is it shows my country to the world in all its glory - and assures those who've yet to visit that it's not a complete tundra.
