    • @shubham6288
      @shubham6288 4 года назад +13

      @@Nickkxiii If you are settling at a place where a different language is spoken you should seriously consider learning that language. It shows a certain amount of respect towards that culture and shows your effort to become a part of that culture. I'm not saying forget your culture, but if you are looking at it for long term, then it's better from all perspectives. You learn one more language, you learn about one more culture, you make a few acquaintances/friends doing it, you are much more able to get your point across. What's wrong with that?
      P.S.: You can't tell someone to "stop speaking such nonsense things" It is their opinion and they are free to have it just like you are free to have yours. Good Day!

    28:30. Please say this to many so called Bollywood stars and millions of common people, that if they are living in and working in Mumbai, Pune and Maharashtra in general, they should bloody well learn to speak Marathi and use it as their first language. Thank you Paula, for bringing this point up. Even Marathi people do not speak Marathi as much as they speak Hindi in and around Mumbai, which is really sad. As someone who was borne and raised in far away Canada, I think you have shown tremendous respect for Marathi and Maharashtra, which many others have spectacularly failed to do. I, for one, have enormous admiration for you and all the work you have done with BhaDiPa and in Marathi. Wish you all continued success.

    While it is absolutely correct, I can not begin to tell you how much more easy it is for her as a white, female person.
    What additional helped, was that she came across Anurag Kashyap - one of the better people in Indian art industry to work with.
    Few people in India would be willing to accept this but if it was a black guy in her place, forget starting something as awesome as BhaDiPa, he would barely be able to write that 2 page report. Simple existence and overwhelming popularity of that shameful idea and terrible scam called "Fair & Lovely" is an indication of that.
    If anyone has any example to contradict this, please share in replies. I will be very very happy to learn about them.

      May be she is blonde so Anurag Kashyap won't mind otherwise we know how civilised we are 😀

      True. It would be a complete different scenario for a black or even for an Indian black/wheatish guy

    Very inspiring journey from Canada to India. I have been and i am a big Fan of Bhadipa. And just recently had noticed you in a video. First thought this as one of a new character added for a next level entertainment. But when I came upon this video was pleasantly surprised to know you are one of the co founder of this first Marathi Digital channel. You guys are really doing a good job. Iam basically from Kerala brought Up in Mumbai. I have always enjoyed Marathi movies, music, theater. Infact the talent, the content which malayalam and Marathi is so such that audiance can relate to. I had watched that Bhumi Pedhnekar interview. The concept was interesting with. All the Best guys for all your future projects. Keep Entertaining.👍

    Really motivating speech by Paula. Nothing is impossible, just be open to opportunities and you may land up doing something you never ever thought of. And that will be your best achievement of lifetime. Just give one try! I had been watching BhaDiPa videos and had been always wondering how you landed in the Marathi World. Thanks Paula McGlynn for telling your story!

    आभार . मराठी माणसांचे डोळे उघड णारे भाषण केल्याबद्दल.नाहीतर आम्ही इथे कुणाच्या तरी नावाने जयघोष करण्यात रमणारी ,तीच तीच भाषणे आणि आश्वासन ऐकून टाळ्या पिटणारी ,कुण्याच्या तोंडाला काळ फासणयांत कर्तृत्व समजणारी पीढ़ी पहातच आहोत.मराठीचा अभिमान फक्त राजकीय पक्षांची गरज आहे आपल्याला त्याच्याशी काही सोयरसुतक नाही असा समज करून इंग्लिश आणि हिंदीत रमणाऱ्याना आपल्या भाषेची बाजारपेठीय आणि आर्थिक ताकद कीती असू शकते याचा अंदाजच नाही.

    Dear CONVERSATIONS MUMBAI,
    Saw this video.
    I have been a subscriber of BhaDiPa since, almost, their inception. They have been pretty consistent in their work. And, yes, in my opinion, they are GOOD.
    Thanks for making this. I shall checkout your other videos as well.
    Keep up the good work.
    All the best.
