It’s been 5 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. Taxes are high definitely and what I feel is you’re working to make someone else’s life easier.
(P.S: people who’ve stayed in Canada will understand who I’m implying to)
No one wants to be your freind, scope of socializing is zero coz mostly it’s cold round the year so everyone hardly come out, especially in Northern provinces like Yukon, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.
Healthcare is a joke. If you feel sick and not well and you wanna see a doctor be prepared to wait for hours and hours. I once had stomach infection and I had to wait 5 hours till someone could see me. I asked for painkiller at-least so I could bear the pain but they refused that as well. You might well see someone you love dearly and with whole heart die in-front of you and you could do nothing. (I’ve experienced it myself hence saying)
You’re a lone survivor who’ll always keep fighting.
The only person who can make money here is businesses and high paid jobs which are reserved to Canadians. That’s how Canada’s job market is. Canadians’ first and if there’s something left they’ll look at you. By the amount of money people invest here they can establish a nice business back in their country itself and earn accordingly on own terms.
Most importantly you’ll cut yourself from all emotional supports like family, freinds etc.
I was social person back in India who liked making new freinds and memories but it’s nothing like that here.
And it’s the same life, no different.
You wake up, dress, eat, go to work, come back, eat, sleep. No different.
No fun and nothing. You actually don’t live in present, you live in an expectation of a better tommorow.
You’ll always have a smile when you greet someone but I guarantee you no one’s gonna check on you to if you don’t start a conversation even with a simple “Hi”. Mostly Canadians are nice but again some will systematically judge you and say nothing but you’ll see in their actions, the way they’ll talk in a twisted way etc.
Yes I’m not saying that Canada’s bad or it’s no good but trust me it will take forever to build a life here especially with the number of people moving here from round the world.
If you’re well off financially from back home Canada’s a paradise for you. Indeed it’s a beautiful country with lots of beauty and lots to explore but remember everything comes with a cost here. Everything comes with a cost. People need to stop believing in this fake illusion and come only if they got a purpose here. The only reason why they’ll let you in the country is for money and once you’re in you’ll have to keep spending, doesn’t matter if you’re broke or whatever you have to.
Once I earn I’ll happily give up my PR status and go back to India as i very well know what the situation is how it’s gonna be in future.
So just one piece of advise to every middle class person like me, guys please invest and spend your money wisely coz we know how hard it is to earn and it’s high time Canadians start appreciating what immigrants like us do for them by burning ourselves day and night and start realizing that their past generation once came from some other part of the world as well and settled here. Being white doesn’t make you a nice Canadian, you’re actions defines you more than your words.
90% of this country is built by immigrants and that’s how it’s gonna develop in future, so if they keep treating us the same way good luck to them 🙂.
Also a plus note to anyone thinking that Asians are stealing your jobs, go get outside and have the balls to face them and take it away from them. Staying home and ranting and abusing us that we’re taking your opportunities and blah blah isn’t gonna work. We are so successful round the world because we are hardworking, honest and respectful to everyone. Even if we’re earning minimum and barely surviving here we always make sure we’re not burden on the government or anyone else and won’t keep crying.
A big shoutout to all you guys who came here in the hope of a better future but are still struggling.
Keep hustling and you’ll reach there, if not step down and go back and start your life again on your home soil. There’s no shame in experimenting continuously rather than sitting ideally and crying about future.

@@naz1118 I came here on my birthday as well and I was all alone. I remember it was my first day here and I was sitting in a room all day crying as I was so home sick. Eventually time went by and I got used to but now I've become a completely emotionless person. Don't talk to anyone and nothing. Canada has become very hostile. I feel if you don't have a family here you're wasting it. People think they'll come here and earn lots but it's the opposite. You do earn but keep spending it like crazy. Taxes, rent, grocery, bills, payments etc and what not.

One of my close friend shifted to Canada in 2022 with his family. Stayed there for a 8-10 months and came back to India saying a big goodbye to Canada. He spoke positive about everything that you are saying is goodie goodie in Canada, but they got frustrated with the long distances of traveling from home to place of work and then he said there is very little social life in Canada. Ek din achanak se decide kiya ki bas, ab Canada mein nahi rehna, and immd they came back.
social life is not there because indians cannot mix or interact with others.. thank god they came back..
This is good to know! Better to cut your losses and move on rather than stay and live a miserable life. I am pleased to see the current generation unafraid to take bold decisions.

@@anwarnayani5849 no country invites anybody to come and stay. It is the life that takes you to different places. You go to watch a movie, you like it- you praise it. If you don't like it- you criticize it. Same with countries. You like some places and you don't like some places. Simple.
everything comes with a cost. if your social life is more important than the amount of money you're making, then of course, canada is not a good place. But if the opposite, then you can stake your social life for something worth it.
I stayed abroad, not in Canada. I realized that how much we take things for granted in India. Ma'am I totally agree to what you said about emptiness and lack of social connect. It takes guts to speak out and re-start life.

I live in Aust and most Indians that I've met here seem to have been wrapped in cotton wool and are surprised that they have to do things for their survival . I'm talking about basic things like changing a light bulb or a tap .
indians in general do not think about how their actions will affect others in society. that hurts them the most when they move. most indians abroad stay only in their own communities and barely interact with the rest of the population.
I am in Canada I am very happy 😅
One of the sweetest videos I've come across on Canada. No negativity or hate-mongering, just facts as it is in the simplest of ways. I've been living here for almost 3 years now- and I'm used to being alone, but I still find the void maybe its seeing your own people back home. I'd say it's quite a struggle to live here and you start to accept it as a norm. But I love motorcycling and I am overwhelmed by the natural beauty- did some amazing rides in summer, but unfortunately winters are here now. While I have three years on my OWP, I'd use that time to gain more experience, travel across the beautiful landscapes and head back home. I don't see myself settling in here- not my kind of life. I am very adaptive and have come up on my own in life from a very tough childhood- I love Canada for what it is, but then it's just not for me.

Everyone has their own experiences. But the hospital incident I can relate. One time I took my son in emergency and the doctor gave anesthesia to my son in his finger and then got busy worh other patients and when she came back the affect was almost done and when she gave cut in his finger, he was in real pain and I was literally in tears.
After few years when my situation was grave the head of the department herself took permission in the meeting for my immediate MRI which takes longer if you not in dire need.
But she gave the perfect review. Never come here to study in college. You won't get anything except wasting your money. For me it's been 20 years here. Life is not easy at all, but I'm used to it. May be because I don't need friends to share happiness or my sorrows. I'm a strong woman and can handle my ups and down.
Life is all about paying bills and bills here and I now I don't have any regrets, so I'm okay with it. Winters are good as long as you have proper clothing and shoes. I never had an issue.

I’m here for from last 6 years but I’d like to tell people - Canada is not the place to come and never ever make this mistake . Economy literally zero, school system - other than real education they teach you everything which is of useless in life, medical care - people have been waiting to see doctor for over 2 years, income tax is 50% which is you’ll never get anything as take home. There are way too many society issues that she’s not able to cover because of the limited time she lived here. There’s no social structure, festivals, support, mentally everyone’s weak, almost all food is GMO which will make you patient forever. Every family who came here post covid is struggling. Most of us are planning to return to motherland sooner or later 🇮🇳 India is the best place for well rounded life always.

Being an Indian living in Canada for over 22 years and working in healthcare system, I would highly recommend to check your vitamin levels (especially vitamin D, B12 if vegetarians) and general health regularly (it applies to those living in US and European countries). A known phenomenon that occurs especially during darker colder months is Seasonal effective disorder (SAD) and needs to be dealt with before it turns in depression.
Life is hard l, no matter where you live but if you decide to move to foreign countries…just be prepared to face difficulties and adjust your expectations accordingly.

If I may hazard a guess: I think her husband did not find his job in Canada satisfactory and so he had to go back and join his Indian job which he had taken leave from for his Canada visit. Then he called her back with the children, after packing up and leaving belongings with relatives. It was a trial visit.

I moved to Canada in 2006. We are happy here. Initial days are tough but you should have stayed 2 years and then decided. Life is very good and winters you get used to like how we get used to summers in India.
Canada and many other foreign countries were a great place to immigrate 30 or 40 years back.
In the end it comes to mentality. If you believe that Canada or foreign country is superior you would not want to leave it. People settleing abroad sometimes are also delusional in accepting the truth.
In the end all that matters is your salary. If you are getting a great salary life is great. A bad salary in Canada or Australia isn't any good.
I know people earning above 4 lakhs per month as a couple still move abroad because in their head India is a shit hole.

Unless you're middle class or lower in India, there is nothing that's better in Kanneda. All desis and it looks more Punjab than Punjab itself.

Life is hard if you're not flexible weather it's India or any other country. Even if you just change city or state in India only you have to make a lot of adjustment that's natural. Every place have it's own good things and bad things, we just need to decide where we can adjust and where not.

Sometimes going to another place like Canada, US, etc.. makes you appreciate what you left.. even if you go back, nothing lost because you gained a new awareness of yourself of your likes and dislikes. Also, you got to experience a different culture and way of living... which you realized is not for you. Just think of it as a learning experience. You've just became a more grounded person because of this.
As a Canadian who has lived in almost all the provinces and territories, all my life, I can tell you that a lot has changed as I think the best time or era was in the 1970's and you may have come at the worst time as the worst appears to be now when everything has become too expensive. The other problem relates to Canada, its size, the distances to travel, the smaller tax base with a smaller population than that of United States or India. This is not intended to provide excuses but most people here do not even have a family doctor as many doctors find greener pastures in the United States where the dollar is 30 percent higher in value and salaries are not limited to government health care. It is hard to change when American influence dictates much of what transpires. Homelessness hasn't been a problem but the last five years has provided more hardship for many who find it hard to cope with how things have become.
You are pretty correct, 70's- late 90's was the best time to migrate there.
The migration in the years of 70s to 90s is exactly what Indians to this date are chasing. The stories of exponential success of Indian people who did not even possess a decent education but were very successful in Canada were widespread in the 90s and 2000s in Indian households. Everyone had someone in their family who was good for nothing in India but then migrated to Canada and had bought a good house, a good car and had a nice family life while doing a blue collar job. On top of this, they were treated as a celebrity whenever they came back to their home city.

Give one to two years. Many things are new in a new country. I went through a sort of depression in the 1st year. After 48 years I am still here and the most happiest person and very prosperous too.

Lol, I can understand why some people from various countries feel their country is best but I can assure you it has a lot to do with understanding the language, customs, the food, they way of life, religious and educational aspects that you're accustomed to right down to the smells in the markets, the people and festivities. It might sound strange but I would have a really hard time in India with the heat, the crowded streets and the frustration of traveling about in crowded streets, buses all moving at a slower pace. On the same token, I like change, discovering what new foods there are with new tastes and unfamiliar dishes that you like so much they become locked in your mind so you won't forget what to ask for next time. I like travel but I prefer less crowded places and not too hot or too spicy.
Diwali vacations ending is a reminder of the irony that we leave a warm home, loving family, old friends, ghar ka khana, laughter, giggles and a million memories to move to a lonely, locked house and cold food… in search of a better life.
I have been living in London for 23 years. I came here when I was in my late twenties but I miss india like anything, specially now for last 4-5 years. I keep thinking that wish we stayed in India. Practically it’s all OK but emotionally now I want to be at home with my extended family and my childhood friends. I know many people here living for so many years, but could never make so kind of close friends. When you are older, you start missing home badly and look back and think if it was right to move this far from home. It’s not the perspective of everyone for sure but of many including many of the people I know. It’s lonely here.
When you say 'london' do you mean London itself or England?? Most Indians who come and live in the UK always say they live in London!! Oh me, I live in Birmingham , 110miles NW of London. Just down the road if your a canadien right!!

True confession !! And honestly India society is also getting mature and they are shifting from Show Off to now Value based culture. Kids can find best of the Education and Education support in India, also from Sports excellence point of view you can find good facilities and coaching. I think if we could beat that thought of "Show Off" like (mera beta/beti/damad videsh me rehte hain) then we can live better life back in India.

Yes, show off and competition is more in north India I suppose. No need to buy 50-60,000/- smart phones for each member of the family if you dont need it, or luxury cars just to off and then complain that there are no savings.
When I was India, I had Nokia 33 something, drive a Luna and my friends used to say I should upgrade myself, be happening like other girls but I was more focused on studies and work. I am in USA now from last 12 years but I am still the same, I buy whatever I like and want but not because something is in trend.

Nice and well thought out video. Even though I don't agree with everything, you said it in a considerate way and shared your honest experience. It was just unfortunate that you did not get enough time to settle down. Moving to any new place is extremely tough and especially when you are moving to a completely new city. I live in Germany and I love it here. My wife and I came here to study, but my wife came first and she had a really bad first 6 months in winter. Things got much better later. We Indians miss house help so much in early days, but the fact is you have so much free time here and things are well organized. You don't waste time in traffic, you don't have to go 10 times to a government office to get work done, you don't have to sit with kids everyday to do homework, kids can come and go to school on their own, there is little dust so houses don't get dirty every day, everything is planned and no one is visiting your house suddenly. So in reality, doing the house chores aren't such a big deal because you have a lot of time.

In simple language bolu agar 1 peede aage badege tab dusre ko acha future milega aur jab struggle hi kerna hai toe better way mein kare Insaan...India mein pvt school ,coaching jaan le lete hai parents ke...isliye I think stay abroad minimum 3 yrs then take decision and see difference....everything is complicated everywhere to get....aaj India mein 1 lakh koe value nahi rakhta ghar bhi loge toe bhi 1 crore taak pahuc jaata hai...

I am hearing so much ooinions of all the indians from india , seriously what did yourl expect , every country has their own culture / way of life you cant have your bread buttered on both sides , and yes if you see now globally all people are having issues if you are not theit own , as for socially i can assure you people are not so social in india as well , that from my experience when i went there , so why expect better from someone from somewhere else , the problwm is indians want to he all over the world aand expect it to be to their liking ,
High school (10-12) is really tough there specially when your child is an IB student. University life is also full of challenges and very very costly.
I live in canada and used to think, may be i am the only one facing all these problems and feelings of that emptiness, doing everything on your own, no jugaad, and the drugs issues etc.etc..i agree with you for every single word you have spoken...i see some people judging for your returning to own country and giving importance to own mental health
Almost everyone faces it. Most are stuck their now because of finances, EMIs, and kids. I have met a looot of Indian people in Canada over the years, never met one who could say moving to Canada was the best decision of their life. Not one. Most are struggling. They criticize those who return because they are unable to go back and want to justify their decision of staying in Canada. If given a chance where all their finances were settled and no one would criticize them, most would come back to India.
Truly canada is virtual Hell on earth been there twice n always came back tho I was Canadian PR n quit my PR last year… And india is truly heaven on earth .. personal assistance (maids n electricians plumbers ets) we get here is blessing guys 🎉🎉

It's based on perception, we here in India take every thing granted, but what I think it's heaven only when you have connections, otherwise a single admission in hospital can empty your whole life savings. If you or your family struck in any situation, law will not help you rather will get you in more trouble if don't pay bribe. Then also India is great.
Imo, being an immigrant anywhere is hard; it sucks.
If you come to Canada from India, you probably wouldn't enjoy it. It would take ages for you to establish yourself.
Likewise, if you were originally from Canada and immigrated to India, you most likely hate it and struggle for a long time. You would miss the home where you were born and raised.

Exactly same, I am experiencing in Melbourne. I also have sister here with her family so I didn’t face the Initial problems like you but all the other problems which you faced, I am experiencing the same. My biggest mistake was that I didn’t take decision like you of coming back and after 3 months, my job in India was given to someone else. Now I have no other choice but to stay here for some years so that I will earn at least some money before returning.

Even my cousin sister who lives in johansburg south africa was not able to attend her own father funeral and watching her father funeral on video call. Even of our relatives watching marriages on video call. It is better to earn and live with your loveones and enjoy every moment of life and keep happy memories.
If you had an easy life in India where you had a maid, a cook, and others to do all the housework and other work then you will never settle in other countries where you have to do everything yourself!

Not only domestic help, all western countries are so very expensive and all are in a rat race. India is little more relaxed and less expensive and people are more friendly in india. People in India are very lively and the whole country is very lively and all shops are open until 10 clock in the evening and the weather is nice. That's y civilization started early in this region and thrived.
Western countries are not very conducive for life. That's y whilst in india highly advanced engineering going on 5000 years back, whereas Europeans and people in western countries were still hunters and gatherers.
India is the best geographically, spiritually, weather, landscapes, people, food etc etc

god u r so true .I’m a 34 year old woman . I had 2 maids in india. new house . 9 to 5 job . moms place nearby . people to talk and freedom to roam .
Now I’m in USA . washing utensils ,folding clothes , cooking 7 days 3 times a week . my relatives are like wow she is in America ! Iam like begging husband for bag/clothes/etc without job .
We Indians are rich in our own way . I don’t know when Indians realize this.
Only thing I love here is once u go out of house it’s green and fresh air.. No traffic no one stares at my dress/accessories / anything. Our india house loan gets cleared very soon that’s the only relief .

The Master/Mistress - Servant (Naukar) divide in india is such a glaring example of the Privileged vs Underprivileged
I also come from a highly privileged family in Hyderabad, but now when we go back to India for holidays with the children, we make sure that our domestic help is not abused. They eat the same food as we do and are given all the facilities that we use in including going out to restaurants and other places such as the Zoo or fun parks
I have lived both in Canada and now in USA and can say without hesitation that the Western way of life is much more human
These countries have a much higher level of tolerance for foreigners
Also, career wise both countries have given us amazing opportunities
Yes we do miss the social life of India, but in big cities of the West that loneliness gap is beginning to shrink as well
Lastly we Indians live a life of dual values. Ghar ke andar kuch aur ghar ke baahar kuch- this is not the case with Canadians/Americans.
It's a pity that it required an experience of living abroad for your humanity to awaken.
There are many well off privileged families in India who treat their household help with consideration and compassion.

If going on PR then we shouldn't compare everything with India. It's new country and new life so expect to start from zero and do through research before immigrating especially with family. Fixing home stuffs like plumbing, furniture and all is pretty normal everywhere in North America and Europe.

You are so very true. Generally, We are very anxious to go to foreign countries. But our India is much better than any other country. I also went UK sometimes for 3 months, sometimes for 2 months with my daughter since my husband is working there. Trying to realize whether me and my daughter can adjust there or not. But I saw their life is very hard. Everything I have to do alone without the help of anyone even when I am sick also. Another thing is that in foreign countries you can not get the comfort in mind to speak to others in a foreign language and always a feeling will be there that this is not my country. Teaching staff and Supporting Staff in school are not the SAME in Canada.
As a Teacher or Teaching Staff in Canada you need a license or certification by the Ontario College of Teachers and it cannot happen in 2 months. Anyone with an external degree cannot come and directly teach in the primary schools.
So it is not that easy to get in as Teacher without putting any effort.. Government over here is very particular about the teachers they recruit.

Supporting Staff are not allowed to teach they are extra helping hands for the school during some special time or needs eg lunch time and for students with special needs etc... and these position are "mostly" sessional
All you said is total truth. All work so hard abroad ..if u work that much in your country salary will come same. All my uncles and aunts came back in old age to rebuild house and die here. But they lost their children who stayed back and had become foreigners. I made sure all my children come back and settle in our country .

What you have said is very true, however there are people who would still like to relocate to Canada because of lot of things.

Here is the reality of Canada, experienced by both native Canadians and new Indian immigrants: No matter what your education, there is an extreme shortage of jobs for highly skilled workers. The result is that Canadian and Indian graduates work in minimum-wage jobs for all of their life. Rents are rising at 15% to 25% per year, but wages are barely rising at all. It has now reached the point where people are starting to live in their cars since they can't afford to pay the rent. Even 4 people living together and splitting the cost is not enough to afford the rents that are now being charged. Health Care? What health care, there is none in Canada; if you get sick you just might die waiting 24+ hours to see a doctor at the hospital.
The only thing you have to remember leaving your home country and going to the west is that you are different not the people livng there... one should be prepared to adapt to Canadian culture.

The Canadian government has brought in so many immigrants in the last few years in order to "boost the economy" (mainly for the people in positions of power). They bring in so many people from India to work the corporate service jobs and since the demand is so high for jobs, immigrants will accept terrible pay because they don't have other options. (Canadians don't apply for those jobs anymore because they don't pay livable wages. You can survive on them but you can't enjoy life outside of work like our parents and grandparents did.)
Next, the majority of corporate service jobs will be taken over by robots (look at amazon, mcdonalds' auotmated restaurant in Texas, one of my roommates works on robots and they are already testing them in warehouses) and the immigration rates will die down as the low cost workers will no longer be needed as the companies will now have the option to pay their "workers" a whole $0 salary.
This transition to using robots as workers would not be accepted by Canadians if one day their employer came to them and said they wouldn't have a job anymore due to a robot taking it, however Canadians can't say much about another person competing for the job. So the companies hire people on temporary work/student visas so that once the robots are truly ready for work , the government can simply put a stop to all the visas and fill all the newly empty positions with robots.
By the way, Canadians aren't winning in this deal either. We used to be happy to work service jobs when they would actually pay decent wages. This is the reason why minimum wage was invented, to prevent employers from taking advantage of desperate people and lowering the quality of life for all normal people in the region. I'm sorry that our government lied to you, our trust in our own government has been shattered over the last few years.
to add to that...due to ppl living longer, the canada pension plan is running out of money...the country needs ppl to work to keep filling the pot..

2 months is a really short time to give judgement on a country. You have to give yourself a year to adjust. You are lucky you went when your kids are big and can do everything on their own. We migrated to Australia 20 years back when our son was 1 my younger two kids were born here it was a struggle then but it was all worth it. I love India it is the place of my birth but Australia is home. I am sure many Indians living abroad feel the same.

Canada has become “Land of Hardship “ . Employment is hard to find to match your qualifications. There is no job security. You could be fired without proper explanation. Discrimination is always there though not openly. Specially in higher positions. Houses have become unaffordable. Food costs are rising every day. Waiting times in hospitals emergency is too long and getting worse. For surgery you have to wait months. My brother died by falling from stairs in his house while waiting for knee replacement surgery. Things are not getting better at any time. After working hard all your life when you retire your pension is not enough to live a comfortable lifestyle. With inflation your retirement becomes “hand to mouth “ life. After spending almost all my life in Canada my brother and friends in India have become much richer, happier and healthier than I am today.
So go back to India and enjoy your life with your family members there. Why pushing yourself harder to stay in Canada when you have so many complains 😂😂😂😂India is better option for you , to settle. Jis Thali mein khate ho , usee mein ched kerte ho. 😂😂

I live in Canada we came here almost 15 yrs ago when the basic salary was $11 per hr. We got a 2 bedroom rental apartment in 3 months at $1200 in a wonderful neighborhood in Toronto. ( not a basement). But pls understand cut to today base salary is $16.50 (at the time of writing in Ontario) but the cost of rental for the same apartment is $2900 + utilities. So it is difficult to meet ends if u r trying to settle new. Ppl who have been settled for a while with even 5 figure salary per month feel the pinch today.
You are absolutely correct. Each and every word is correct. My sister is in Canada. She faces all the pbs which you said. And she said education is much better in India than Canada. There will not be any exams . So kids won't study properly. For simple reports we have to wait for some months. Getting job is sooooo much difficult. When you can be fired you can't say. I arrived in Canada when I was 5 and been here for almost 50 years. I think people forget how much the original folks struggled. You hardly found an Indian store and were discriminated against. I think you made some valid points Canada is heading in the wrong direction and we need to blame the government. We don't even have affordable housing or Healthcare to support the increase in immigration. These no name colleges are making money at the expense of poor students. These students then have to work in low paying jobs. I really don't see any scope for some of these students. Think twice before coming to Canada because even I am thinking about leaving this country now...high taxes and it will only get worse!!
We too came here in 1975, and my parents faced the same struggles..one thing that was different compared to today is that families got together on weekends. Weekends were to recharge after doing all those hours at work. There was a sense of community and purpose. That feeling of belonging seems faded away. My wife are exploring other countries like portugal, panama, costa rica, etc.. Tough life for these new immigrants

We moved to Newzealand in my early 20s from India. I'm an electronics engineer. I had 2 kids with no moral support from anyone in a foreign country, it's hard. I never wanted to live in a foreign country but my husband insisted only 2 years & we will go back......but ................fast forward, 25 years later, my kids grew up in Newzealand & they love Newzealand and don't want to move anywhere else in the world. We are Newzealand citizens now. I still think of India because I have my siblings there. But, once you are settled in a foreign country, believe me, you can't go back to India. All the best to you and your family. You have done a great decision of moving back because it gets harder later when kids grow up 👍👏💕
You can move back, if you or anyone else wants to..even for retirement...cost of living, housing is much cheaper, especially in mid size or smaller cities, such as chandigarh, vizag, even pune...the pension plus sale from house in western country will go much further in india

It is nothing like that. If your mind is set, you can come back. We had green card way back in 90's still we came back. There is loneliness, 0 culture, no entertainment during festivals. We enjoy 9 days of Navratri,Diwali and so many festivals,can eat all kind of vegetarian food outside ur house. Salary and education is best in India. You will always live a second citizen life. Not at all great saving. Tax is more. There 90 percent cons. Horrible weather, third class public transport.

My daughter went their in Winters for study and came back within 2 months. She find canada not worth living due to various difficulties she faced. Again I cannot say its a good or bad country. It always depend many factors.
Change is hard and uncomfortable, it is harder when you have to work more.
Moving to any other country is mentally and physically stressful and making decisions without considering long-term good will push you to return to your old situation.
You should have given it more time than just two and a half months.
Moving to a better quality of life is much more than money and comfort. You can always hire a house help, it is way too costly but the quality of work you get in just a few hours per week is worth paying.

There is no short cut to success. If you have to be a winner, you have to make sacrifices and put in hard work. I know of several families who have made it big despite the early problems they had.
As per my past experience I lived 2 years partially without any types of done job or hard work ..So .. I can say that Canada is HEAVEN .. But ... One generation sacrifice for their children future .... If they not have sufficient fund .... As per me .. We live in usa since 28 yrs, We are ok as our whole family is in abroad, but We recently took a trip to Canada, in Brampton and we were shocked nothing to put down but we felt it’s India except fee things, as everywhere u see Indians, employees are Indians, jn my uncle’s street 99% were Indians, my cousin told me in his class all students are Indians even the teacher and there were some more things that I can’t explain in words, because during childhood when we took trip to same place we felt we came to Canada but not anymore, I think Canadians are tired of Indians they mostlyhave diff ares where most Canadians live and areas where Indian community and we felt lucky we are only traveling here, so it’s better to live in India instead…

We moved from Middle East thinking we will have a better life, and for my child education in t college but just like you I am feeling so lonely, restless crying day n night...I wish we could go back...Middle East countries are much better.

These foreign countries have all the benefits and facilities when they want money by enrolling the students into different courses to make their economy greater but when it comes to job and giving employment it is like they are doing a big favour on us.

If you have your own house in a big metro city , household income : 2.5 lakhs a month , at least 1 household help and age 30 + . I firmly believe you are better off in India .
Now if you are younger, no money no hope and not much education . Canada is your home.

Struggle is there without maid and house help initially but if have the willpower it will work out ,you at-least got job within a few months if u had did some courses it would work out . I got job only after an almost a year. I never wanted to stay in basement and it’s very cold and u will get sick We need both husband and wife to get things done and manage things .Thats where u missed out on. U at-least had relatives there we don’t have anyone here . I had my kid also here alone in hospital no help. I am not saying it’s easy nothing will be delivered on a platter here but it’s better than India freedom, lifestyle,groups community and more over value for life.Try again if u want and get a condo or apartment at-least next time.I always loved winters and once u know how to dress and what precautions to take winter is very beautiful. So if anyone is coming to Canada please be open minded and keep in my mind it will take at least 3-5 years to settle in a different country and you can lead a happy life here.

Ma'am, you have rightly said its a matter of one's individual temperament, priorities, expectations, and domestic conditioning. I know from experience of living in Canada, China, Japan and Sweden for over 25 years, your take would have been the same in any EU or American country. Of course, all sorts of handymen and cleaning services are available at a single phone call, but they're expensive which is why everyone keeps a tool kit and does most little things themselves. Only for complicated stuff we call professionals. If you can forget the maasis back home, these can be great countries to live in. Think again!

After retirement working for 25 years you may get old age benefits of retirement and pension about 950 cad dollars after age of 65 . Your medicine become free. Wait time in Emergency about 7 to 8 hours in Toronto and GTA. The 950 dollars are a help for bill payments. If you have mortgage you can not survive. Comparing Canada to USA , one can find job easily in USA.

I appreciate people making these videos...because people hve misconceptions..that everything is very good here. With high number of people coming in..and infrastructure ( housing/ hospitals/ school) slow to catch up with the population ..we see line ups/ waiting list for everything.
I thought ur going to share some serious issues bt this are common in all countries except our home country. I agree with you for 50% Here its completely independent life style . Once u start living here u wil know ur capacity and be proud of urself like u can do all ur works by urself. Missing family members and loneliness is definitely true. Education is much matter in india that is also true. And last wt u said was 100% true if ur earning good in india no need to move to other countries u can hardly save 50k to 1 lakh compare to india . To just save this no need to come so far from family.

Right decision taken by ul....May take u some time ...but remember there is nothing on earth better than our motherland India.Rather than living in a artificial world of indirect slavery... where there is no feel ever of our mother land...it is best to be content with our lives in India and we can keep trying to do better in India itself.Writing this through personal experience....no matter what wealth other nations can give u...it is not comparable to the love ur homeland India can give.Truly said..East or West,India is the best❤
