So the 30% contraction is recommended only, if one feels discomfort? How much contraction is recommended, if it feels okay? 100% is too much, as you mentioned, that a heel-lift is to be avoided. So is it "as strong as possible without lifting the heels"? Thanks in advance.
@cartmansuperstar the exercise needs to feel comfortable or neutral (not painful). So yes, a strong, comfortable contraction without lifting the heels is fine.
