A bit late for me now to find out about the special care needed! After the injection ( some 10 days later) my knee became swollen and it took some two months before I could start being able to bend it. It took some 2 more months with training and swimming before I could reach a nearly problem free knee. (The decision for the injection aimed at proactively facilitate my knee joint movement which I felt at times about to “block”. I presently try to exercise regularly (leg press and elliptical machine in the gym and swimming coupled with exercises on my weak glute muscles that seem to have an impact) I have also embarked on chondroeitin/ glucosamine tablets for a month now. Wish me luck…(67 years old male patient)
3rd day I had to use stairs for my granddaughter’s party. Next day I was in even more discomfort. I had one knee fine and one knee very stiff. Thanks for info for future injections
