So many questions! 1. Do you recommend in-office microneedling for help with collagen production? If not, what do you recommend for collagen production to help with skin laxity? 2. As long as our moisturizer doesn't include any oil in the ingredient list, it is good to use? 3. What is the best treatment for age spots when hydroquinone doesn't completely take them away? Thanks for sharing all your knowledge with us!

This is so great. An “Influencer” was saying “clinical information” ?? She had notes used big words like trans epidermal water loss ... she was saying NOT to use an exfoliate w Magnesium?? Like ZoSkin. I use this everyday. And also that exfoliating is bad for the skin unless 1-2 times a month. Then she started using words that YOU USE!! Regarding RetimA .. I commented. I’ve been using retinA for 3-4 years. I use it every night all over from a formulation pharmacy through my Dr. he mix’s it with Niaciamide and hyalouranic acid ... Yes I started w .25 for a year then .50 for a year and I’ve stayed at .50 w ZoSkin Melamix 6 months on 3 months off w the hydroquinone.. I was floored she was giving the worst worst Information!!!! Saying growth factors?!? Aren’t good?!? Are you kidding me?!?
One more. She was telling people NOT to put moisturizer on wet skin. That it actually makes the body lose “trans epidermal water loss” her favorite joined word. WHAT!!! That’s totally false. I wish they would stop. They have no justification in giving any medical advice. ❤️ you girl. You are the 💣 I have had Fractional co2. My Dr is wanting me to try micro needling. I may. But definitely at my Drs office. Thx again !!!!

Wow, you are a wealth of information. If I use moisturizer, it is for using under my primer or foundation, so my make up doesn't look too cakey. At night I use a retinoid product and in the morning some of the products you have recommended. However, I do use Elizabeth Grady Body Balm on my feet every day, and cover with a pair of white socks. I have been doing this for a few years now and my cracked dry heels look beautiful. No other product has ever worked like this one. I have had this issue all my life and now my heels are healthy and healed. I do need to know about face waxing. I have hairs, black and white ones that have grown since menopause, mostly under my chin. I get them waxed every two weeks because the lazer machines do not pick up the white hairs. That is a lot of skin pulling. And I have been doing this for two years now. I hate going, but I do not know what else to do about the problem. Do you have any suggestions?

If removing a layer of skin via microdermabrasion causes that pore widening effect by slicing off the top part of the pores, wouldn’t other things involving removal of a layer of skin (like chemical peels and some lasers) have the same detrimental effect?

The information about the oil was the hardest for me lol I totally respect what you are saying and think it’s completely valid but prior to adding oils into my skin care the last year I was predominantly oil free using professional products like revision, elta md, skinmedica etc, and my skin was awful! Fine lines, dehydration clogged pores the list goes on. Now I use an oil based cleaner from Avene, Squalane oil, an oil based moisturizer along with my differin gel at night still and my skin is so healthy and has incredible hydration and clarity. Is there a chance oils work for certain skin types?

I had micro needling sessions done on the tops of my hands and forearms 6 months ago and I am still enjoying the results. My skin is less wrinkled, more taught and free of age spots and discoloration. Was I just lucky or is micro needling better when not used on the face? I have no regrets and will certainly do it again if or when it is necessary.

Great video Stefani, thank you, your looking ageless by the way...., I, on the other hand, am now 62 years old , and i have always worshiped the Sun, i have always felt healthier and better looking with a tan, and uplifted and Blessed by its warm Rays, when the Sun is out so Am I .... needless to say my skin is well Rays-ed ... I was given the M8 Micro Needling Pen, i have not used it yet , (since watching your video i am now a bit more confused, and perhaps more apprehensive , as i have been lead to understand, and seen photographic slides, of collagen rebuilding, and increasing around the damaged sites under the skin , as in PDO Threads for instance !, i can appreciate that can be quite a bit deeper then say 0.25/0.5 needle , but would the damage you mentioned using micro needling not build more collagen over time, in the same way? in turn regain a stronger structure and support, for the my skins aging loss of collagen !!...PS. to use or sell the pen, is now in question ? , plus perhaps finding an affordable, better ways to address my now sagging lined skin ??

So as far as moisturizer, the holy trinity is not as important as it used to be empathized to be ? Fatty acids, cholesterol, plus ceramides ? Would love to know what a hydrator is more specifically…. Is it a water based moisturizer/lotion with no oils in the formula ? And if that’s the case, I thought water based serums, etc. don’t actually penetrate into the skin according to the science. I thought fat soluble products get into the skin such as fatty acids like The ones inside of oils. And are you saying no moisturizer (water+ oil formulated moisturizer) is better than moisturizer ? Also for someone that get dry after retinol application, what would you recommend to better address the dry skin, peeking or flaking ? This has become a little confusing for me and Would love to know and understand what you recommended going forward. Thank you again !

Thanks for another great video. Glad to hear about the micro-needling. I could never get myself to use needles on my own face but I was starting to think I was missing out on younger looking skin. I know you said microdermabrasion is bad for skin. Once every 2 weeks I use these little razors (Tinkle razors) to shave the peach fuzz off my face. I am very gentle. Is this the same thing as microdermabrasion or is this ok for me to do?

Hi, I find your videos very interesting! 😍 I would like to know how medication/ tablets can alter your skin health. I have diabetes type 1 and had a coronary bypass operation 5 yrs ago. After that I was put on meds for blood pressure, beta-blockers, Acetylsalicylic Acid and cholesterol. My skin has always been dry but now it is paper dry 😬 I am 48 yrs old and have had diabetes since 1979. How does the meds affect skin conditions? Thanks in advance ❤️

what about the skin papers called Frownies. They have been around forever, and the do seem to relax your skin at night so you don't frown at night. They help the areas in-between your eyes so you don't get worse "11" lines. If you wet them thoroughly before removing them and don't rip them off the skin in morning, are they safe to use? I use them and they do seem to help. Thanks

If you suffer from dry eyes, you may want to avoid Retinoids & Retinol. My new ophthalmologist just told me yesterday to stop using Tretinoin as it can cause meibomian gland damage. She recommends that her dry eye patients stop using retinyl derivatives on the face altogether. She’s an expert in this condition so I best follow her guidance. I’m so sad about this. 😢 Up until this week, I’ve used Tretinoin without issues, I thought. My skin wasn’t irritated but perhaps using it has contributed to my ongoing issues with dry 👀

Dear Dr . I have melaama due to hormone imbalance. Please advice me if I can use hydroquinone along with retinol, retin A or trentinoid.. When do I apply the hysluronic acid. Do I apply moisturizer after retinol at night as I noticed you didn't mention to put it on at night. My other problem is lack of elastin and sagging skin.
As far as body, how to I improve lose skin (weight loss and weight gain). I don't want to have even more flaccid skin after losing weight. Loss of volume on my face and creepy and cellulite in my abdomen , buttocks , thighe and hips.
