Us truckers are switching up withal we have to do whats best for us. Just curious why you had to do training with 6 months experience? Usually anything less then 6 Months they will require training with a trainer. Much success to you brother. Drive safe and Keep trucking!
hey there! sad to see you are not with them anymore. so out of curiosity, we are going to work for covenant. my boyfriend and i are going to do team driving for them. everyone seems to hate them. not sure if its bc usually when people say bad things about a place its bc one thing happened so they say they hated the whole thing. is the company really that bad? do they pay what they say they will? what were your favorite things and what were your least favorite? tons of truck drivers have said they were horrible, but we like that they train together and we have a huge dog so its really the only one we can take her with us. we are going to work for them regardless but would be cool to know what to expect. we have been following you guys since you started. good luck!
Thanks I appreciate the support first off 2nd off I’ll answer a few things just cause I’m not sure when the next video will be 😅 anyways everyone has there own opinions me and my brother loved covenant they have missed a few things before in our check but we would always get it taken care of just be sure if you pay for anything company related you save the receipts i feel most ppl that don’t have a good experience with covenant come in alone and have to get setup with random ppl in the truck which usually calls for a bad experience .... now the experience that I would hate is the last 3 days of work 😪 like right before hometime because those days are the slowest at least for me I never really had a bad experience... or maybe getting a truck that was dirty and having to deep clean it lol
I'm betting you mean "drop and hook". Lots of companies have drop and hook. Meaning it's not a "live load". Some companies have a higher percentage of drop and hook than others. Unless you get with a "LTL" companies, you shouldn't be doing much unloading. Most companies will state they are "no touch freight" unless it is an absolute emergency. Some companies you may have to deal with Lumpers though. Depends on what you are hauling, where to and what it is. I "think" reefer drivers have to deal with lumpers more than dry van guys do.
Nice to see you back! Just to relieve the pressure on yourself, we don’t need you to pump out a vid multiple times a week, maybe just like 2x a month or so lol. We also love to follow your personal channel/life, that kind of stuff keeps the content refreshing with more ideas. I’m a trucker as well and I know it can get kind of boring/repetitive. Just something to think about man, stay safe!
Congratulations on the new job Jeremiah... I'm not going to Spoil it for everyone else which company it is🤫 but could you tell us what that company is paying for Team Driving. I heard they just stared doing Teams. 🤔 I was hoping to join them also since I'm from TX also. Take care bro
