Really great sounding grooves, I reckon with the "second loop" of the Kick going on 3, the And of 3, and 4, would sound even more groovy. You're fantastic, keep the great work.
I thought you might appreciate that. Drum Corps is off the beaten path (pun intended) but still wonderful detour. - Mick ruclips.net/video/xStUtdI0iOw/видео.html
I know you're trying to stand out from the crowd Emma, but for the love of God, please notate your videos using standard drum theory, please. This colour coded headache is just not that helpful. In fact it's probably harmful.
Thank you for your feedback! Our goal is to make the lessons accessible to everyone, but we understand that some prefer standard notation. That’s why we notate most of these RUclips videos and include them in our free eBook weekly giveaway. If you’d like the standard drum notation, feel free to check out the link in our bio. Hope that helps and happy drumming 💪🏻🥁
I have been making my own (similar) colour coded notation for a few years now.I make reference to full notation.I think such a system is friendly ,easier to see at a distance and it appears that the ability to read enough proper notation has developed without me noticing.I would have been far less scared of drum scores if I had started with such a system.GREAT
Thanks!
This makes me want to play drums
Out of reach now, but so inspiring!

thank you :)
👊💯💯💯💥
Problem with having an electric kit is the hi hat has only one sound.😢
I'd love some videos on open/closed hi hat techniques though.
Non basic electric drums offer hi hats with more than one sound.
Thanks so much for the insight, obviously mine isn't 'non basic'
So tasty🥁
Did you say Ditty?

I think the notation used here cannot be easier (and I read standard notation too).
