This young woman is probably one of the best online teachers you will find. You kick some mean grooves, thanks! Did I mention that you're also a natural in front of the camera.
Emma, you are a fantastic drummer - and teacher ! I am a total beginner on drums - 65 years old, and I struggle with limb independence, not totally keeping time, etc., so these rhythms are too complicated - but your channel is an inspiration and a fantastic aid! Thank you!
You do great work! For so many people and I know how hard running a RUclips channel is (I have another channel too :-) also running social media educational content is not easy. And you have to be selfless and that is you! I wish you all the best. Thank you.
Really enjoyed this. Would you be willing to add some info in the video description as far as what your ekit setup is and what drum sound/settings you have? Sounds great and would like to try and replicate the same sound on my own Roland ekit. Thank you!!
Are there any good beginner electronic drumkits you'd recommend? I'm nearing my 30s and really want to get started (have to catch up on all the lost years). I had a cheap kit years ago, but that wasn't fun to play at all, a real dissapointment, so it collected dust for years before I sold it.
One more thing: I have just seen your "This Technique = Faster Bass Drums" video, which I hope can help me. Can you comment on - or make a video about recommended spring tension for the bass drum pedal ? I struggle to find a good setting: Very loose and I often get unintentional double beats, and the beater is after that buried on the drum... And with high tension I struggle to get even beats. Does a high tension build more muscles and better control ? Thank you. Jan
Hello! Could you please do a RUclips short unpacking how to play the full from End of the Dream by Evanescence. It happens at the end of the second verse at about 1:55. Thank you!
Your videos are excellent, but you need to learn how to use the wonderful chapters feature. You’re giving three grooves here, we should be able to to jump from groove to groove very efficiently. What software do you use that at your videos? If you’re using da Vinci resolve, you can automatically upload chapters. I’m sure other editing software has something similar. Now imagine a video where you’re giving 12 different grooves and the Student is working on groove number seven. He wants to keep going back to that groove number seven on successive days, you wanna make it so he can jump straight there. Have a great day
Honestly, I think it usually gets forgotten about because we don't have time. But it is a good idea! We currently use Premiere Pro and Capcut. So if it's possible to add them in on either of those, I'd be more than happy to give it a go! 😊
Thank you for all the support and lessons

God bless you Emma.... Much Respect for You. Thank you for your time and support for us greenhorn drummers
should be a small "k" followed by a big "K" in groove 1 😀
