I would like a system that lets you decide whether to use maximum deployment or to harvest, on some cars once the battery is empty it's really hard to fill it up again, so a feature that lets you use both modes would be very nice.
hybrid system is so bad on the LMP1-H Le Mans cars from 2016 that it is actually quite depressing to race with, like nothing works properly on this game ffs
He didn’t say it had DRS read the title again. He covering hybrids/ev/drs the 918 is hybrid and he is showing how it works. It regenerates battery under braking
@@OPPSIJUSTKILLEDU The 918 used here is a bad example; Hybrid cars like the Toyota Prius has regenerative braking, but the 918, being a Plug-In Hybrid, has no regenerative braking. The game's UI indicates recharge during deceleration, but there's actually no recharge.
@@OPPSIJUSTKILLEDU In-game. Gran Turismo games tend to have occasional inaccuracies, such as the JGTC cars being faster than real life in GT2 (200 more HP than usual), The Chaparral Cars being able to reach insane speeds in reverse in GT4, The Corvette C7 being in Sport Mode in GT6 (was supposed to be in Track Mode, which was corrected in GT Sport), the unusual top speeds for most hypercars in GT6, like the Pagani Huayra being able to reach 270 MPH, and now the 918's Hybrid behavior being incorrect in GT7. From what I know, the 918 is supposed to have the latest LMP1 Hybrid technology for its time, but that's not reflected correctly in GT7, where there's no electric motor powering the front wheels, the power being too low than in real life, no regenerative braking despite the UI, and no power loss once the battery depletes. In addition, the 918 has no 4 wheel steering either despite the lunar rover having that feature in GT6.

I wish there was a feature that would let you use the hybrid system manually, PC2 has that feature, so I don't know why not here
Weisach package is set to race mode

@@X2011racer you on about real life here or in game. Because in real life the 918 does regen under braking.
