For the sake of utility they don't fit the Group C cars with Sarthe tuned gearboxes right away, the top speed would be way beyond what's needed on most tracks, so they give it a gearbox that's tuned more towards acceleration. If you want to hit 400 kmh in the C9, all you have to do is fiddle with the gear ratios for a bit
Shioriko Mifune's Mazda 787B, Hyundai 2025 VGT and Peugeot L750R Gr.1 all sounded perfect in GT7! So strange that Ayumu-chan's Sauber C9 doesnt hit 400kph in GT7. It usually hit between 390 to 400 at 24hrs of LeMans.
They should give group c more hp, like in previous games. Being an h pattern gearbox cars with less downforce than lmps should balance it a little bit better
@@Osaka_Ai yeah, and every car you upgrade it will have the very same hp. For example, get 2 gr.3 cars, that are different. If you put the high rpm turbo or supercharger on them, every single one of them will have exactly 801 hp.
@@ArturoSM01 that’s just pure laziness. The game feels way too sterile. Bring back the days where there were clearly better cars than others to use. Some with more power, some with less power but also lighter, some that are slower on the straights but faster round the corners… everything in GT7 feels like it’s made to be overly balanced. It’s boring.

I was disappointed with the C9, that thing managed to reach 400 km/h at Le Mans

This game adjusted those Group C cars to race version of them.
The 400kph car isn't the C11?
@@B87333 nah. I’m think by the time the c11 was racing, the chicanes were already implemented on the mulsanne straight

True. The car in GT3 to 7 sounded so legendary.

@@ArturoSM01 but meanwhile, they still put too much downforce for the lmps, even in the lowest drag setting(except the 908 hpi)

It's a bit disappointed that there's no Toyota 88C-V minolta
Yep. Despite TOYOTA GTONE 1999 finally returned, still no Setsuna Yuki's Minolta 88C-V, Mari Ohara's 1997 R390GT1 LM, Rin Hoshizora's 1998 R390GT1 LM, Cultus PPV, X2010 5G, 911 GT1, and Hanayo Koizumi's 1998 Esperante GTR-1.😢
