- In this video we walk around Secret Harbour in Perth, Western Australia. This beachside suburb surprised us with what it had to offer.
Secret Harbour has it's own shopping centre but is also conveniently located close to the larger shopping centre of Rockingham.

I built in Secret Harbour, great place to live. I never knew about the plans to build the "Boat pens" I'm so happy it never happened.

Secret Harbour, Golden Bay & Singleton are the best suburbs in Rockingham, although they are south of Perth they have a lovely layback lifestyle that inner city suburbs don’t have.

As i understand they could not do the harbour as the sea water would effect the ground water

Lovely suburb, that's why I live within Secret Harbour. Beach side is the best.
It is a beautiful location with a great beach. That was first time we have been there and were impressed.

Golfing... Residents get broken windows all the time so that's why there is scrub.
That makes sense. I wouldn't appreciate golf balls smashing my windows.
We are moving there next year from Melbourne 60ks to CBD Is ok not to bad

Thx for this .. I’m in Melbourne and was always curious about this place. Seems nice enough shame it’s 60 k away from Perth..
It is on the train route which makes the commute easier and it seems to be a very nice suburb with lots of facilities.
Most people living here don't want to be near CBD Perth,...

Secret harbour has no harbour as beechborough has no beach
That's correct - the first development application which included a harbour didn't go ahead. Beechboro doesn't actually have the word 'beach' in it - probably why there's no beach there.
I wonder if anybody has brought a house from watching this video
