boiling the broccoli is what I normally do, then drain it with the noodles. some people make their own alfredo sauce but the premade isn't as bad. I'm not a health nut so prego, frozen broccoli and shrimp are very delicious and filling
Wow! This is the perfect recipe that I needed right now. I am 22 years old and live with my siblings, so it was my turn to cook. I had these exact ingredients. I am about to start cooking. I'll let you know how it comes out. Thanks for the recipe!
Hi, I made this today. Exactly like you made it, and my whole family loved it!!! Thank you so much for this great idea. p.s. I don't like the complaints people wrote here, you are just helping us out ; )
This is pretty much the way I make this dish as well, mostly because it's easy and tastes good. I do have one hint for you though. My mother taught me to put oil in the water before adding the pasta claiming that it kept the pasta from sticking to itself. I have since learned that pasta won't stick to itself if you just stir it occassionaly. However, the oil in the water will coat the pasta and keep the sauce from soaking into it. For the pasta to absorb the flavor of the sauce, it's better not to coat it with oil from the water. Not that it matters, but I also do not break the pasta. Bon appetite.
Martha Ramirez I've used Classico sauces (red & white) and frankly find them all pretty much the same. I always add parsley flakes and Italian seasoning and Spike also.
***** What is italian seasoning? I guess that food companies sell many products outside italy telling people that those products are like italian people eat but it's not true that we eat them. For example we never use sauces or seasonings bought at the supermarket, we use them fresh. Italian cooking is based - as the first rule - on using fresh product. If you use bought products you are not cooking in the italian way.
look at you doctor kinky throwing them facts bout sodium ;D haha and That 'alfredo' sauce has lots of sodium too; I'd recommend just buying heavy cream + parmesan cheese. Cook minced garlic (if you have) on MEDIUM, add whipping/ 30%+ cream too the garlic and reduce heat to LOW, Stir and add your parmesan cheese and done.
Pasta broken in half 👎🏼 Already Cooked shrimp and cook more for a rubbery texture 👎🏼 Drained all the pasta broth👎🏼, if you’re not going to make your own Alfredo sauce, you can cut the sodium in half by using a cup of pasta broth and half of that Alfredo sauce. This is perfect for people that think Applebee’s food is very delicious.
Girl you did good fuck dese hatin ass people either use the fuckin recipe or move on I'm glad you put this on here bc I was thinking about using the bottle Alfredo for quick meal so thank you there are people out here that appreciate you fuck da rest!!!
***** Hey, don't listen to anyone trying to dis your recipe. Keep doing what you do, and I know your channel will be a success. I only just found your channel, but may add you because of cooking videos and such. Take care. Don't listen to a lot of the RUclips folks on here. A lot of them can be typical bullies with nothing better to do in their lives than come online and disrespect other people just to get a rise out of them.
Good video 👍, quick and to the point. I found other videos and it was to long and to much work. I have four kids I need to cook low budget and a little bit quick on the time so I appreciate it thank you. ❤💯👍
To make this recipe better you could've chopped/minced up basil and garlic, then added that to your shrimp and reduced your shrimp down with white wine. Also use RAW shrimp because cooking shrimp too long will only toughen it up.
The precooked shrimp tends to have a a firmer texture and is over cooked. Give cooking raw shrimp a try, relatively high heat, brown on each side roughly 1.5-2 min each. It's also pretty easy to make alfredo sauce and won't take too much extra time. But if you don't have the time then it is what it is
I heard your NEVER to use a skillet/pot to cook food if the Teflon got scratched. If that's true you have NOTHING to worry about with sodium and EVERYTHING to worry about with the chemicals you're eating from that pan! On a side note, food looks delicious (in another pan)!
Kool thanks for information . I never made it so I am going to try. Yea I really don't blame u on salt thing cuz if it's too salty thats bad. Best for each of there on taste if need add .
When you were adding the shrimp and stirring I was watching the pan and thinking to myself: Wobble Wobble Wobble...lol. Have you thought about making your own alfredo sauce? Very easy and only a "little" more expensive when it comes to the ingredients. The taste is by FAR better than jar bought. keep up the videos!
Funny I was thinking of making this because i have shrimp in the freezer. I think I will make it this weekend. I'll prob add garlic though but great simple recipe
I'll try this recipe. I wonder if she removed the tails before she added the shrimp to the pan. The only part I didn't like was the preachiness about salt and whole wheat. I'll decide that for myself.
I've never made Alfredo sauce before and I didn't know that you could just pour it over your meat like this. I thought it was some process lol I'm going to try making it now
i use rice noodles from the asian stores. they have that super thick linguini stuff. i dont like to eat noodles made out of wheat flour any more i think rice flour is healthier. (it may not be true i really dont know)
Hey Patricia, I forgot to say that one of my friends from Haiti, taught me how NOT to over cook my vegetables. What you do is, pour your veggies in a bowl, then boil some hot water in a separate pot. When the water comes to a boil, just pour that hot water over your veggies, and let steep. Just leave in the water or pour off when ready to eat. Simple. Hope you try it.
shrimp look great, but I agree with others about the jar sauce and oil in the boiling water. Just salt the water (no Oil) and for the sauce (butter, garlic, cream cheese, heavy cream, salt & pepper, herbs) BAM!! delicious sauce. I break my pasta every now and again it wont hurt just don't do it if you have ITI friends coming for dinner lol.
ahhhh I'm literally laying in bed watching this and I'm super excited to cook this for my girl friend tonight!... who I have to pick up at 3am... thanks alot!(:
Hi, I am going to try this too. I am going to use garlic and Mrs. Dash original and Alfredo garlic sauce. I did use just plain spaghetti cause that is what I had on hand. I will let you know how it turned out and I will take a picture of it. Good job.
I hope you know that you bought already cooked shrimp. its supposed to be used as cocktail shrimp, served cold. By cooking it even more you probably made it rubbery.... A little FYI for ya
All da haters commenting. My mother taught mi if u don't have nothing nice to say don't say it AT ALL. Great video hun
You go on social media, you are then a public person and have to take what comes. Don't want comments, either disable or stay off. I appreciate your spirit but stay off media if OH MY GAWD SHE USED JAR ALFREDO SAUCE????
What a stupid way to think.
Tell your mom to fuck off please.
Why did he not teach you that me is spelled m e not M I ????😂😂😃😃🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
Girl do your thing! I'm sure you aren't worried about these negative comments, but I think it was a great video. Thank you for posting! :)
No problem, anytime
boiling the broccoli is what I normally do, then drain it with the noodles.
some people make their own alfredo sauce but the premade isn't as bad. I'm not a health nut so prego, frozen broccoli and shrimp are very delicious and filling
I had to fast forward it, please don't lecture me about sodium, dang it's shrimp alfredo
J Zman Right! I hate when watching these cooking channels they try to preach about healthy.
im saying lol im from new orleans thats all we have in our diet is sodium lol
She explained cuz ppl in previous videos were asking. It wasn’t for u if u didn’t care.
Thank you like y
exactly
I just made this recipe for dinner & my family loved it!!
Wow! This is the perfect recipe that I needed right now. I am 22 years old and live with my siblings, so it was my turn to cook. I had these exact ingredients. I am about to start cooking. I'll let you know how it comes out. Thanks for the recipe!

do you use that type of sauce? do you know it its good?
Martha Ramirez I've used Classico sauces (red & white) and frankly find them all pretty much the same. I always add parsley flakes and Italian seasoning and Spike also.
cool thanks for the tip i was asking because ive only tried the ragu brand

You just have to pour cold water to the pasta so it doesn’t stick.
idk about y'all but using a regular steel spoon to cook gives me anxiety
same, actually use metal on metal is a no no especially non stick sauce pan.
why??
Yes why
Me too that’s why I use nonstick
How long are you suppose to cook the shrimp and alfredo sauce? Also when do you add the alfredo sauce?
looks easy BUT GOOD

Making this tomorrow for the 1st time
I would reserve pasta water to the side. When you combine Alfredo pasta to the pan, add a little bit of that water so it won’t dry out.
looks good im trying this tonight!!
Hi. Did u use the entire bottle. I am making it with the same sauce .
Yes I did
thank you for the simple recipe. I will try this out soon!
+AndroidLalaa no problem :-)

What about about a cast iron skillet?
Kool thanks for information . I never made it so I am going to try. Yea I really don't blame u on salt thing cuz if it's too salty thats bad. Best for each of there on taste if need add .

1) There is no need to poke a holes in your meat when you are using a dry marinade.
