Thank you very much Mr. Lorton for your reviews. I saw this video years ago, but until recently I could buy an MTX3293, which is the evolution of the MTX3282, now with color display, trend, bargraph and without the hinged display, something that made the mxt3282 a little fragile. Also, when the red lead is put into the Amps jack, it immediately switches to measure current. Very clever! I even made a little video of it.
Where is you MTX3293 video?
@@AK-IT I've deleted
@@mauriciomonroy7118 Unfortunate.
J'ai eu 2 avec charnieres qui sont morts avec des problemes d'affichage.
J' etais vraiment déçus, puis depuis 3 ans j'ai le 3291 qui m'a convaincu de prendre le 3293 plutot que le fluke 289.
Sinon, un super multimetre la fonction ax+b, duty cycle, pulse duration, they are great
Thanks very much for the feedback it certainly is appreciated. Yes, it certainly does hold out very well against the Fluke particularly considering price point. I do plan to do a full and proper review of my Fluke 287 and will try do a side by side to see where each hold an advantage. Cheers, Martin.
Good point...I have not used it for AC so I will make a note to do this in the future. Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks....so do I....
I think it is 3 VA but I will do follow-up early next week testing the consumption and show the Maths function...which can do weight, pressure, current transducer transformations, resistive power, etc.
Cheers.
OK, you were brave enough to test AC mains on Ohms. Nice! Now you are ready to open it up and show us the insides. (not just the battery compartment)
Thanks for the great review. You really do make life easier for people who can only purchase one high-end multimeter and at this point, I am regretting having purchased my Fluke 289 even though it does some things better than this one, the features you get on this model really is mind blowing.
Looking forward to your future reviews!
Will demo the Maths function in the follow-up early next week. Will also show the display modes but I don't think it does what you are asking. Thanks for posting.
Yes, I would tend to agree. It would be great if there was a mode to drop the graphical display and have larger digits.
Could you do a review of the mtx 3292, Thanks for the great reviews your doing. All the best.
Thank you for considering my request. The only reason I suggested to make a full review of the 287 is because there are so many complex functions such as crest factor, duty cycle, pulse width etc... that I do not understand but would like to make use of on a daily basis. It would be a shame to own such a multimeter and not exploit all of its features.
My pleasure...it's one of my favourites!
Sure it is and I love it more than anything, but this thing has so many more features and advantages for much cheaper. I would definitely trade mine for this one, but wont sell my 289 to get it though. Maybe someday I will own both!
Yes I gained something watching Your video: a Matrix 3282 that I just bought one hour ago ;-)
Thank You !!!
And Abo ist done!
Looks like some nice ideas spoilt by a few details - display is way too small for something with a large graphic LCD
Hi mr. Lorton
I have a question do you have any idea or solution to add bluetooth module for this multimeter 3282 or 3283 ?
Wish you would have shown more of the math functions. Also, does are there large digit display modes? Something other than the graph or the min-max? Nice review.
I was wondering if you've done any AC power tests with it? How does power factor affect its measurements? Can it measure power factor? Thanks for a great review!
Sir I have mic 30trueRMS Multimeter.it is not. Displaying anything.what I have to do for repairing that.i am a mechanical person.but much interest in technical electronics.ur teaching is very understandable and quite understandable.Thanku.
Raju
Sorry it's mic 39
Did you ever review the 3293 that you had?
LOL....yes...I was a little worried that might be the case :-)
does this metrix meter have a diode a function, and can the diode measurements be uploaded to a pc? Does this meter have the ability to do manual recording, to take one reading at a time?
I watch a lot of reviews about all sorts of electrictestequipment and often i end with this YT channel; I m considering a MTX 3292 or a Fluke 287 Both have logging capabillity and both can show trends.. the fluke , after recording and the MTX instantaneous; Both meters seem to be able to 'do' anything i would like to measure. But finding reviews ( written or in videoformat ) about the 3292 seems to be very hard. Maybe you can review this multimeter?
I like this Metrix but it is a little on the pricey side for something with no TFT/IPS screen .
Thank you very much for uploading this video. It looks quit great!
No waveform display on AC?... seems like this would be an obvious thing to do with such a display.
Please mr. can you do an review about metrix mtx 3292 ?
Alguien podría desirme como se carga la batería
Just bought one!
Ok...if you have not found it yet....there is a follow-up video where I do a "mini teardown"....unfortunately I could not get the cover completely off but you get a small peak inside it.
Oops that was close.......
Almost 2 meters to heaven..... ( if there is a MM heaven ;) )
That meter looks high quality, but the design hummm...I don't know. Too frenchy I guess. I don't like it.
Poor review.
