Awesome to see the progress on your lake
Ones you start talking about climate crisis you lost my attention
There is no climate crisis BUT we have abused the world for way to long and we need to put things back into place
    Keep up the good work

Wow, you've really cracked on with the trees/shrubs/marginals. You've not mentioned any leaks so I hope that's positive ... although with a goodly number of ducks and geese their poop should add to the benefit of having so much clay.

For the last month or so we have had around 100 wild ducks arrive every evening.

It's best not to add manure around trees when planting as they tend not to leave the planting hole and stakes should be put at 45 degree to help with wind on a exposed site

So advice, I started watching your channel as I thought it was a carp fishing lake you busy to build
Lost interest when it saw it was just conservation build
To get your number up of subscribers turn the lake into a fishing lake
SO you give a little to gain a lot. The numbers will get you loads of followers and sponsors for other projects if it is a fishing lake
    Just my opinion

I really dont want to spoil the party, but planting trees on a earth/clay dam is a very bad idea. once they die and the roots decay water will start seeping through the former root channels.

Also planting trees too near the lake will lead to leaves building up sludge eventually polluting the water
Wildlife ponds in general should recive plenty of sunlight
