I never thought I’d see anyone transcribe let alone learn and be able to play what Buddy Rich did - quite incredible. I take my hat off to you 👌

I love this solo so much
Your talent to be able to listen to what Buddy Rich played on a record or cd and then be able to do it with feel is just amazing. Plus you need to have the technique in the first place to be able to play it. Very smooth drumming and your drums sound great! Doing all of this with a full suit on which Buddy did for years is wonderful. Since I got to see Buddy Rich perform live many times from 1969 to 1986, you my friend at your young age, and I know for sure one of the best drummers playing today. Do you plan to have your own band or Big Band one day in Japan. All my best to you with your great drumming. Ken Loomer
Thank you so much. Though it isn’t very fast, this one was especially difficult both playing and memorising. The biggest hallmark of this was that Buddy played by odd time signature. I guess he was just playing freely either in 4/4 or 3/4 but there are some 5/4 or 7/4 for sure if I translate them into sheets.
Anyway, this one gave me a new experience and there were a lot to learn as always.
I am doing gigs on september and november. Also, I might start working in the US next year!

Thanks!!! Though Buddy wasn’t using fibes on this gig, it gave a good feeling for sure!

@@sinatrafan9856 Yes exactly! In 1969, he should be using chromed 14x4 Slingerland, which is almost impossible to acquire today.
