In the vast expanse of a surreal location, Tissot's new campaign unfolds, highlighting the spirit of freedom and the exploration of wide landscapes. It is a nod to the 70s, emphasised by the beautiful vintage car of those times, illustrating the origin of the Tissot PR516. A lone traveller navigates this solitary yet mesmerising world, his journey marked by inexplicable encounters and enigmatic phenomena, which never stop him in his journey. Driving through this otherworldly landscape, his watch is a tangible reminder of time, in a place where it doesn’t seem to exist.
A Journey Through the Mirage
Our protagonist steps out of his car into the vast unknown. Holding binoculars, he gazes into the horizon. Suddenly, a glint catches his eye from a distant figure. Curious, he peers through the binoculars and spots a passerby adorned with Tissot bags, the sun reflecting off their watch, creating a fleeting connection in this desolate world.
As he continues his drive, the unexpected confronts him yet again: a solitary red traffic light standing in the desert's emptiness. He looks at his watch in anticipation. As the light flicks to green, he presses the accelerator, propelled into the unknown.
Further into his journey, a sense of disorientation arises. Retrieving a map of Switzerland from his glove compartment, he contemplates his origins and probable terminus. The map sprawled on the car hood and the watch on his wrist become symbols of his quest for direction in this boundless landscape.
The journey takes a surreal turn as a vast shadow engulfs him. Looking up, he witnesses the astonishing sight of a gigantic PR516 watch flying overhead, a visual metaphor blending time and space.
