It’s curious… I’d say the defending one is not the norm. From me and my friends’ experience, most extroverted girls will tease instead of defending. Sometimes being pretty mean just to not let their feelings show.
Make note of this people if someone likes you and they want to keep it secret they mean, keep it secret!! In other words just keep things quiet and keep your trap shut!! no one needs to know. They say it for a reason. I've learnt that. Its hard for people to express themselves and if that means expressing through stories, music whatever take it as they like you. They are trying to say something don't loose it for godsake!!! Build on the trust, don't rush, feel confident your both not going anywhere. I'm not making the same mistake again. If there's something there and they come back just keep your trap shut and the relationship will build.
It's their way of getting to know you and they want the reassurance that the other party isn't going anywhere. Nobody wants to get hurt so do it away from people, no one does but if it means building on something you don't want to loose its the only way to build on that trust again. I admit I opened my trap on occasions unfortunately this can't be undone but now I can only make it right and not let it happen again 😞. Its just a mess. Take it face value protect each other, show them your there, be honest, be supportive and make sure your actions match your words. If you love each other just keep it quiet guys its the only way to build on something that's worth fighting for. That way they'll feel more confident in contacting you again.

I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Men and women think very differently from each other.
