@christianzotter4224 thanks again. So are you inundated with tourists or immigrants now. We Brits are getting very bad press from some Europeans. Some may be deserved but those countries have been overwhelmed I'm afraid. Sad. But Austria was very first country I visited with school at 16 yrs old. A long time ago but I went back with my family and sister, nice and brother in law. Both occasions it seemed like a fairy tale. Please don't let it get ruined and keep your traditions alive....every one of them. Much love and happy memories from myself and family.
Not sure what platoon it was but I was having chemotherapy at the Royal Free hospital in 2010 and several times early morning a troop of horses would come down Pond Street going to exercise on Hampstead Heath. Always cheered up the start of my day ❤️ ♥️

They would be the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery
Definitely artillery. Great in their own right but not a Guards regiment.

Awesome recruiting tool for women and a positive role model reinforcement for young girls seeing that they too can contribute to what was a traditionally a male dominated sector.

They are only at Horse Guards for 2 weeks all year and that is during the summer.

@@adeleozanne3427 The King’s troop Royal Horse artillery other ceremonial duties are firing salutes for state visits, royal birthday’s and other special occasions. They also are active military personnel and can be deployed around the world in different warzones or doing field exercises.
