    One hell of a great tip! You are a great inspiration to do this art. I've started doing my car and no matter how much I watch your videos though, and all the tips you give I am failing quite a lot. But if I don't try I will never get there! Awesome job you always do!

    This is so much better than trying to do a paper template for a complex area like that! I (and everyone else that subscribes to your channel, I'm sure) appreciate you sharing your knowledge and experience so the rest of us can improve our wrapping skills!

    To help make the positioning easier...use an oil pencil to make a placement mark on the template and the car...then transfer the mark on the template to mark the vinyl which then can be used to line up with the mark on the car. Bada bing bada boom! Nice work and video thanks for sharing

    Hey man I love your videos! I noticed you do a lot of eclipses and I have one myself. I'd like to try this myself but before I start I'm a little confused about the hatch back. Would you be able to post a video on how to at least work around the glass? thank you!

    You make it look so easy! Would I use the knife-less tape if I were say.......Going to lay down some stripes over a previous wrap, or art-work? Or should I just cut them out to the dimensions I want and lay it down? Thanks for the tips!

    What product if any, would you recommend to protect the vinyl to make it last

  • @LJL98
    @LJL98 7 лет назад +1

    Could you use something like a dry erase marker or pencil to mark on the tape and the corresponding grey vinyl a centre point. Then before removing tape from cut piece of new vinyl, you would transfer the mark, to make finding the right position easier? Just seems lining up the centre position is the most time consuming part. I hope this is understandable lol

    Hey. I love your channel. I have a question. I have the front lower bumper of the hyundai Kona and it is very complicated with lots of angle. I need your advice on how you would do it. It is the lower front bumper at the bottom of the honeycomb grill of the Hyundai Kona.I want to wrap the bottom in Red vinyl

    CK Wraps I'm planning on wrapping the roof of my '07 Mini Cooper S with VVivid's black holographic chrome. No one around me, that I can find, professionally does wraps. Do you have any suggestions or what I should avoid? Wrapping the spoiler is what I'm most concerned about.

    Really good technique with the template. I do seem confused about the corners there where the seems come together, I'm curious to see how bad the dust bubbles where because if they are as bad as it seems wouldn't it be smarter to wet sand them out before application? I personally wouldn't be happy with how that looks even tho it's in a spot that's hard to notice it's just one of those little things that makes it look sloppy. Just my opinion, I love your work and support what you do man and hopefully I'm not coming off rude.

    • @CKWraps
      @CKWraps  7 лет назад

      +Riley Sobush totally cool man. The customer didn't want to touch it after just having it painted. You're right though, it does look sloppy and it sucks that someone might think that I got debris behind the film

      Keon YungStunna they don't wrap the top because it isn't visible unless you're looking from the bottom of the car

    You should have put knifeless tape on the inside too so you didn't have to cut onto the paint

    • @fubarmofo6969

      E11evens if you know what your doing it's not required. Difference in a pro and a beginner

    • @diydaveman

      The word 'pro' is a deceiving word. In my experience as a handyman I usually have to fix what a 'pro' has done previously. Anyway, all 'pro's' do the same work differently, CKW used knifeless tape on one side, another 'pro' might be 'pro'active and do both sides. Just sayin'.

      His wraps are great and he’s built a reputation as someone who takes pride in his work and highly doubt he is going to cut into someone’s paint. The word pro is not deceiving it’s got a pretty straight forward definition. People are deceiving.
