CK, you are a good man. You are providing employment to a lot of people who are willing to learn from you. Thank you
love the real up close footage ..thanks
Keep it up man.
A bright idea.
One hell of a great tip! You are a great inspiration to do this art. I've started doing my car and no matter how much I watch your videos though, and all the tips you give I am failing quite a lot. But if I don't try I will never get there! Awesome job you always do!
This is so much better than trying to do a paper template for a complex area like that! I (and everyone else that subscribes to your channel, I'm sure) appreciate you sharing your knowledge and experience so the rest of us can improve our wrapping skills!
Holy shit man you rocked that one keep up the awsome work my friend.
Great video, awesome camera work to.
awesome videos, definitely going to use all of these to tackle my own car this summer
man this helped with the back end of my miata as it has the same style inlay.
I spent 3 hours yesterday trying to figure out how to do this and failed, thank you for this video you saved me I don't know how many hours more
thanks for all this videos, you are amassing i like you work.
Thanks CK, your tips are awesome, I just tried wrapping a bumper for 1st time, total fucking disaster but Im not giving up. I'm starting again tomorrow. This really helps, God bless.
Thanks!! Another great video
To help make the positioning easier...use an oil pencil to make a placement mark on the template and the car...then transfer the mark on the template to mark the vinyl which then can be used to line up with the mark on the car. Bada bing bada boom! Nice work and video thanks for sharing
So helpful!
I was hoping the knifeless tape would fail at that point so you could show us what to do.😂😂
Hey man I love your videos! I noticed you do a lot of eclipses and I have one myself. I'd like to try this myself but before I start I'm a little confused about the hatch back. Would you be able to post a video on how to at least work around the glass? thank you!
You make it look so easy! Would I use the knife-less tape if I were say.......Going to lay down some stripes over a previous wrap, or art-work? Or should I just cut them out to the dimensions I want and lay it down? Thanks for the tips!
we support your labour and helpfulness. My friendly advice is please get a better camera for close-up and stabilization. I think your effort and art deserve better camera :)
What product if any, would you recommend to protect the vinyl to make it last
Could you use something like a dry erase marker or pencil to mark on the tape and the corresponding grey vinyl a centre point. Then before removing tape from cut piece of new vinyl, you would transfer the mark, to make finding the right position easier? Just seems lining up the centre position is the most time consuming part. I hope this is understandable lol
Hey. I love your channel. I have a question. I have the front lower bumper of the hyundai Kona and it is very complicated with lots of angle. I need your advice on how you would do it. It is the lower front bumper at the bottom of the honeycomb grill of the Hyundai Kona.I want to wrap the bottom in Red vinyl
I have been using vivid X P O and trying to do wide strip on each side of my hood of my 2016 beetle and as soon as I get to the bottom of the it goes very wrong so how can I fix this problem
What products do you guys use to reglue emblems?
Love watching your videos . quick question though. when lining up do you want to overlay the edges at all? i saw by another you want a small overlap. but looked like u cut them side by side.
Thank you!!!
CK Wraps I'm planning on wrapping the roof of my '07 Mini Cooper S with VVivid's black holographic chrome. No one around me, that I can find, professionally does wraps. Do you have any suggestions or what I should avoid? Wrapping the spoiler is what I'm most concerned about.
thx for the great video but what the name of this Blue Tape ?
Can this work on a Nissan 350z rear bumper?? @ckwraps
good video
Very very nice bro
i see them wrapped wheels! show them they look dope!
+Kerwyn204 I'm going to post a video on how to do them today
Really good technique with the template. I do seem confused about the corners there where the seems come together, I'm curious to see how bad the dust bubbles where because if they are as bad as it seems wouldn't it be smarter to wet sand them out before application? I personally wouldn't be happy with how that looks even tho it's in a spot that's hard to notice it's just one of those little things that makes it look sloppy. Just my opinion, I love your work and support what you do man and hopefully I'm not coming off rude.
+Riley Sobush totally cool man. The customer didn't want to touch it after just having it painted. You're right though, it does look sloppy and it sucks that someone might think that I got debris behind the film
@@CKWraps I'm going to wrap rockers on a new beetle,it has light rock chips texture on the lower part of rockers ,do you have any pointers on dealing with the texture..
what about the top side of the inlay?
Keon YungStunna they don't wrap the top because it isn't visible unless you're looking from the bottom of the car
Do you do training programs? Love the content
Yes, I run workshops nearly every week. You can find more info in the description.
You should have put knifeless tape on the inside too so you didn't have to cut onto the paint
E11evens if you know what your doing it's not required. Difference in a pro and a beginner
The word 'pro' is a deceiving word. In my experience as a handyman I usually have to fix what a 'pro' has done previously. Anyway, all 'pro's' do the same work differently, CKW used knifeless tape on one side, another 'pro' might be 'pro'active and do both sides. Just sayin'.
His wraps are great and he’s built a reputation as someone who takes pride in his work and highly doubt he is going to cut into someone’s paint. The word pro is not deceiving it’s got a pretty straight forward definition. People are deceiving.
hi
OK !!!!! I saw a left foot with a petti, pink toenail polish and a sandal ! So......either Christian grew another left foot, or his beautiful wife is recording. I have to go with his wife filming. How'd I do ? LOL
