Do you still use the powermesh and was it gray or silver? I'm looking into fabrics and may buy 2 of the Hollusions if I have no luck. The chiffon I saw was viole or sometime that so not sure how that would perform.
All of the material I use for hollusion is gray. I show in this video ruclips.net/video/GDHBcHy0oMk/видео.html If I wasn’t using the hollusion material, my second choice would be the powermesh. Then chiffon and lastly the tulle if nothing else was available. But I was least happy with tulle. I didn’t test chiffon/ or tulle in the video unfortunately. 😩 I wish I had. Hope this helps!! 🎃
So to see if I understand correctly, if you're projecting from a carport (garage door or door) to the outside, you can use a shower curtain or white sheet and the people outside will be able to see the projection?
In this video below from Halloween 2020, all of the materials I used are frosted shower curtains. And I am projecting from inside the house. ruclips.net/video/Kw897TCKt2E/видео.html It wasn’t until I began projection mapping (or projection from outside) that I went to the thicker materials or the tablecloths that you see me reference that I used in 2021.
@@HauntingwithTricia Would you be able to tell me if the AtmosFx projection material (the non-Hollusion material) has grommets all around the material (around the edges) I assume it's 9 feet in height and I want to flip that on it's side for my carport and use the 5.5 feet for the height instead.
Just ordered the powermesh! Half the price for more material! Thank you
Wahooo!! Let me know what you think!
Nice and thorough explanations and tips. - James D. Watkins, artistic director of PHOENIX PRODUCTIONS.

@@HauntingwithTricia Thanks. I might pick that grey power mesh and a Hollusions to see how things go this year. Thanks again.
Of course! Good luck and I hope you love the results!! 🧡💜

Yes, the AtmosFx materials have grommets, which I love. I don’t like to have to find other ways to hang when I don’t have to. ☺️
