You did a phenomenal job on your cardboard version of The Willhelm Gustloff and the wreck version. I always find your exploding the wreck videos interesting.

Maybe as many as 9-10k people perished (and a couple more ships were also sunk filled to the brim with people). James Cameron eat your heart out this is some of the most gripping under sea footage I've seen in a decade. a harrowing story of death at sea and somber reminder of how you must always pay your insurance carrier so you continue building the cardboard fleet.
Not long after the ship was found a cardboardian law came around so it would be illegal to go within 500 meters of the wreckage site to protect the memory of those 9000 lost (This is an actual law with the actual ship just with polish in stead of cardboardian)
I'm pretty sure it's the actual depth. If it wasn't that deep it wouldn't be pitch black without the light. This is also filmed in a giant lake so do what you want with that info
Cowgirlchloe, I have a pretty cool suggestion, when the ship is plummeting to the depths, bring your sub/camera with it and check the damage from the hard touchdown.
I was still dressed in my Sunday best when the steward handed me a life belt. I put on a coat and got into the life raft. I was one of the few saved that night.

Quite easy, you mark the location down on a map or something, get some Rc stuff and cameras and water spotlights if you want to see it and finally head to the location, set everything up where you reckon it sank.Im guessing the ship would maybe 50 ft away from where it sank depending on how deep the area actually is
Chloe. In the very small chance that the Carbordia 1 is deeper than this wreck do you think there could be a chance that it's been preserved for over 13 years? It could be some type of situation that happened to the Endurance ship in Antarctica that's in almost perfect condition from the depth and cold water
hey could you maybe do something a little different? i would like if you could have a plastic wall on the side of some of the cardboardias and let us watch the water flow through the rooms, that would be very interesting to watch.
In all seriousness, it's wild to think that 3x as many souls were lost here than 9/11. Subsequent actions obviously increased that number... A person is usually good, but people are bad. We need to be better. 😢
Imagine a person having permission to dive to the bottom of this lake when you see soggy cardboard ships resting on the bottom with thousands of lives lost at the sea
Hi I wanted to ask but I'm not sure if I did already(if I did, my bad) where do you get your cardboard from? I want to make my own cardboard ships but I'm having problems finding specific flutes of cardboard, especially the super thin ones I want for finer details. I can't seem to find any super thin flutes of cardboard sheets for sale and trying to collect them out here in rural Texas isn't working because the only boxes out here are heavy duty 😬
@@4kleidisc omg cereal boxes!! I literally don't know why I never thought of that, they're perfectly thin for the small details I need! Thank you so much :D Now I won't have to go buy thin cardboard craft sheets haha
I'll never get over how cool it is seeing these proper shipwrecks of your cardboard models. Arguably cooler than the sinkings themselves.
the shipwrecks always look so realistic
You did a phenomenal job on your cardboard version of The Willhelm Gustloff and the wreck version. I always find your exploding the wreck videos interesting.
The wreck version is just the same ship but after it was left under water to decay for a while
The actual gustloff wreckage Was bombed by soviet submarines and mostly destroyed sadly
Filmed in a deep borrow pit- on private property, with permission.
Has to be rotting away in all that conditions eh?
@@OceanicEdits_Must Be

Ok
Filmed in a deep pit?, that explains why the ship is so deep
Dude. These were like my fav vids when I was a bit younger, good to see they are still getting put out.
Same
Out of all the wrecks, this one terrifiies me the most.
How so?

It’s beautiful to actually see this stuff, it’s a miniaturized version of what actually happens to shipwrecks
Hey Chloe, if you're reading this, I have an idea for a cardboard ship. The Card-Mund Fitzgerald, or the cardboard Edmund Fitzgerald.
I agree!
same
yes
That would be cool
Yeah I heard there were no survivors when the card mund Fitzgerald went down 😢
Now that wreckage has been found, treasure hunters seeking their fortune are hoping to find the lost and legendary _Kidney of the Ocean_ necklace.
I would think more like, "Cardmond of the Ocean"
This is so beautiful. Thanks much Chloe
Amazing, the wreck looks like it has been decaying for years. and it plowed right into the mud.
It would be crazy if you did a size comparison and a deepest comparison video on every single boat
She hasn't found every wreck so it won't be the most accurate statistic ever but it would still be awesome.
Yeah
Hey chloe, you are the best youtube content creator ever, i hope you continue like this!
Put firecrackers in the bottom of a ship to simulate a chain reaction of explosions in the boilers
Can I screenshot
Such a tragedy, may the lost cardboardians rest in peace.
192' DOWN!?!??!?! HOW ON EARTH IS THIS POSSIBLE HOW DEEP IS THE CARDBOARDIAN SEA!??!?!
I think its a whole lake
Yeah it is but how deep is it? 💀

as a person who was on the ship it was scary l was a sleep with my wife and kids and we heard a big bang on the ship
Sick footage!
Looks like straight from a movie😅
Chloe thank you for making my entire ship phase way worth it😅
The ship can not be raised since it was sunk at least 192 ft
192 ft IS INSANE! In meters that’s 58 meters which is the size of an average water tower!
What if it was 192 INCHES???
grate job on filming the ship that far under water!

the sound underwater is very scary 😮
I'd like to see a cardboard ship sink and capsize called the Cardboardseidon, as a nod to the Poseidon Adventure and it's many spinoff movies.
love it :) So cool to see, thanks.

That's why they weren't able to set up the lifeboats...
And Its Horrifying That It lasted for 1 Minute..
So cool looks like an actual shipwreck
Let’s go!!!
Thats deep😮
That’s what (s)he said 😊
You should do the Edward Fitzgerald for your next cardboard ship
Was it a plastician sub that caused the sinking
Wow this is amazing
Can you make a video on how do you find those shipwrecks?
Already has

dude the underwater camera is cool and scary at the same time
surprised u havent been contacted by Jimmy Cameron
How do you like the idea of building a sailing ship Victoria?
Watch 10 minute documentary on real ship that sank ☹️👎
cardboardia 😎👌
Prime youtube
I watch this as I build a new type of cardboard ship, a hybrid, with a cardboard frame and tinfoil hull
Could you make a tutorial video on how to make the ships and how they sink?
they have made a showcase on how they work. But there’s no tutorial yet.
they do show how it sinks though. You can find the video in the channel.
wow! it is as deep as Hampstead tube station

What hapend to Cardbordia? ,i know that CB 2 and CB 3 where raisded. But what about Cardbordia?
Did they raise Carbordia?
CB2 wasn't raised, it was brought to the surface for a bit but sank back down and I'm pretty sure that CB3 is disintegrated at that bottom of the lake
This wreck sunk deeper then the actual ship...
Nice vid
Hey what do you use to go search for the wrecks? Like an RC Submarine model?
You should make a crab boat, like off deadliest catch. Cardboardia Marie for example
hey could you maybe do something a little different? i would like if you could have a plastic wall on the side of some of the cardboardias and let us watch the water flow through the rooms, that would be very interesting to watch.
You should try and a make a cardboard ship sink and try and make the wreck land sideways and see what it would look like after a period of time
Do you have submarine tours to wrecks? just wondering.
Maybe all these Cruise lines should stop building ships out of cardboard? :)
they aren't cruise ships you sound stupid
my fellow sinking ships maker >:)
dang its completely destroyed
It’s quite deep,so the ship may of collapsed under some water pressure or something

damn bro have good idea than me, but this enjoying so im suscribing you
Fun fact: it's deeper than the actual Wilhelm Gustloff itself
How do you film these shots underwater? Like what is the setup?
Huh, You seem lucky To See It With All The Cardboard Rotting Away...
Edit: WAIT I WAS FIRST?!
Lucky old chap
Far from first I was tho
Did she actually have to send a camera under water? Or is it just made as a prop with lightings in her room
You should make an analog horror but that’s up to you to decide
Tallented, btw can you make an ms Estonia ship called the ms cardstonia
Have you been able to find the original ships wreck yet? Any evidence to suggest where the wreck might be?
In the footage of the ship floating, theres a metal hull, was the sinking on purpose? On the wreck I saw no metal hull! I knew it!
It's a cardboard hull on the video!
and duct tape at the water line
Are u acoustic 💀💀
@@ohgeeshcaro maybe,
How do you get yours to sink and not float and stay up?
If we scaled both the ship and the water level that it sank at, realistically would have sank 6083.1 meters deep if it were real.
How do you film the wreck?
Imagine a person having permission to dive to the bottom of this lake when you see soggy cardboard ships resting on the bottom with thousands of lives lost at the sea

How does cardboardia look now, I wonder?
Bro, how to make those boats with things inside and also how do you sink it if the cardboard can't sink easily?
They make models of the inside to show what it would look like and I think they use weights
could you maybe try and raise it?

Cardhelm Gustloff
