YOYOKA is the DRUM-WISPERER. Not only fantastic drums but so much positive energy. What an unbelievable generation of young Japanese female drummers there is: YOYOKA, Senri Kawaguchi, Kanade Sato, Mana Fukuda and those not mentioned. Put them in the opening ceremony of the Olympics next year please!
What impresses me most is how happy they are while nailing every beat of this. There are some fantastically technical kids out there, but they often seem robotic and emotionless. This kid is having a blast!

Without a doubt, one of the most amazing things I've ever seen on RUclips (or, really, in life). The drumming is obviously incredible but then you get to 1:36 and see the utter joy on her face. I have watched this video probably 20 times now and each time I can't help but grin with her. There's so much unfairness, needless suffering and sheer human stupidity in this world, it can one sad at times. But, then, humanity also has moments of redemption & inspiration like these. Rock on!
I've seen a zillion talented young female drummers. RUclips is full of them. Yoyoka is the only one I've seen who puts the music first. She loves it and it shows...the old phrase 'in the groove' seems relevant. Her talent has feeling, not just technical skill. Awesome.

Omg!! I'm blown away. I've been playing 25 years now and I can't even imagine being that good at her young age. Very talented very inspiring and watch out all you kid drummers coming up you've got a beast of a drummer to compete with. Love the double bass and her rolls are great. Just blown away wow

She can do the famous bass drum triplet. I'm speechless.
On her website there's another video of her playing the same song that has a small screen insert of a foot-level view while she's playing those triplets with one pedal. On her website and you'll see that she gives a lesson on playing those triplets with one pedal. In case you can't read Japanese, right now that video is listed as 4 months ago, it is 5 min. 15 sec. long, with 197K views, and you'll see the number "13" for the lesson number, the number "3" for the subject of triplets, and the number "8" was her age at the time.

I read in an interview with Page where he says Bonzo used double pedals in the studio to record this. He said it was the only song he used it on.
