2009年10月生まれ。2歳からおもちゃ代わりにドラムを始め、4歳からライブ活動を始める。
5歳で 『かねあいよよか』を結成、幼稚園在籍中の6歳でファーストCDを発売。
作詞作曲、ボーカル、ピアノも担当。ライブやイベントなどこれまでに100本以上のステージを経験。
国内外のテレビやラジオ、新聞や雑誌など各メディアで50回以上出演＆特集が組まれる。吉幾三やタカアンドトシ、COW COW、バービー、EXILE SHOKICHI、大泉洋など多数の芸能人やアーティストと共演。
菅沼孝三、川口千里、石若駿、安部潤、MAD大内など数々のプロミュージシャンともライブで共演。
2017年8月、『第2回 スーパーキッズパフォーマンスコンテスト』小学校低学年の部で優勝。
2018年6月、世界的な女性ドラマーのコンテスト『Hit Like A Girl 2018』の18歳以下の部にて、最年少の8歳でウイークリーチャンピオンとなる快挙を達成。
Led Zeppelinの『Good Times Bad Times』をカヴァー演奏した応募動画は、アメリカのローリングストーン誌やビルボードで特集され、世界中に拡散。
Red Hot Chili Peppersのチャド・スミス、KISSのエリック・シンガー、Sonic Youthのキム・ゴードン、シェリル・クロウ、ショーン・レノンらから称賛される。
国内でも、矢野顕子、佐藤竹善、ハマ・オカモト、亀田誠治、ピエール中野らも驚きとともにSNSでよよかを紹介。
さらにLed Zeppelinのヴォーカリスト、ロバート・プラントもよよかの演奏動画を称賛。
2018年8月11日、国内最大級の野外ロックフェスティバル『RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL 2018 in EZO』に史上最年少出演。オリジナル曲のほか、Char、奥田民生、KenKen、聡一郎（CROSS ROAD）をゲストに迎え、Led Zeppelinの『Good Times Bad Times』を演奏。
2018年9月11日、さいたまスーパーアリーナで開催された『第27回東京ガールズコレクション2018 AUTUMN/WINTER8』でドラム演奏を披露。3万人の観客を沸かせた。
2018年10月8日、札幌の道新ホールにてアマチュアとして異例の700名チケットソールドアウト。
2018年10月21日、東京ビックサイトで開催された国内最大の楽器総合イベント『2018楽器フェア』の『ベースの日×ドラムの日 楽器フェア50周年スペシャル』に出演。ベーシストの亀田誠治やドラマーのピエール中野、KOUHEI（4 Limited Szabys）と共演。
同11月29日、札幌のhitaruにてNHK「いまこそ、ひとつに、北海道ライブ」にアマチュアで唯一出演。細川たかし、大黒摩季、AKB48、Littele Glee Monster、SHISHAMO、大泉洋と共演。
大黒摩季のステージでは「ららら」のドラムで参加。
Pearl、VIC FIRTHと史上世界最年少エンドース契約。
Zildjian、CYMPAD、DWともエンドース契約。

Iqbal Muhammad senri is one of the best drummer in the world, no doubt. but to be honest, senri’s “skill” is nowhere near yoyoka at the age of ten.(IMO). i love senri tho. She’s a beast.

Damn! so many drummers foolishly think this is an easy song then they miss 40% of the song while sweating. Yoyoka hits 100% of the song and adds another 30% and grins like she is waiting for the hard part. She is a rare gem I cannot wait to see where the drums take her in life.
The intensity that she plays with is more than a lot of grown ass men in metal bands. Sooooooo good!
I am 67 now and a rock fan since the 60s and liked all the new rock power in the 90s. Yoyoka´s Led Zep triples, RATM power and else, all unbelievable, but her 2:51 "input" and the end bass drum flights on this tune are not from this world. Now I think, rock drummers should cover Yoyoka´s covers to be in her league. I hope to live very long to view most of her career. There were several singers and several songs that brought me to tears in the past, but never drums. Yoyoka is a gift from the rock gods for all of us.

@@michaelwachendorf2096 Yes. Most drummers would be unable to hide the pain of that sustained triplet at the end of the song. And just for good measure, she hammers 16th snare notes over bass triplets- freakishly hard to do.
Well, that might have been a little show-off. But what impressed me much more was her flawless rendition and little, but all the more impressing, additions to the beat, where one could see her true add-on quality of ingenuity. She's not just repeating, she's creating stuff far beyond show-off style drumming.

As a man aged 44 i cannot help but think I was fortunate RUclips was not around when I was 17 or 18 and played the drums in bands. This would have completely destroyed my teenage drummer self esteem. This kids is all sorts of amazing.

Ok, the last snare blast before the last chorus she did it with a combination of snare and bass pedal and then at the end she added her doble bass kick drum faster and she owned the song being just 10 years old??....I will meditate on what she just did with this song for a little while, until my mind gets totally convinced that this really happened!!!

この曲は、yoyokaちゃんらしい爆発ドラムが気持ちいいです！すごいグルーブ感ですね。
Not because she dosn't seem to have any technical limits, and not because she beats so hard, that only technique can explain her inpeccable and accurate beat (given her twiggy arms). It's devocation and deep emotional understanding of rythm that sets her apart from almost anyone hitting drums nowatimes and maybe even at any time. She's great beyond and independant of her age.

I discovered Yoyoka a week ago, watched her entire catalog twice or maybe three times, and then listened to it again on my headphones without watching her play. Same result: Blown so far away...oh so very far away. I read somewhere that bad people go to hell and really bad people come back as Yoyokas snare. It simply is nonsensical. A girl with the body mass of a bag of chips simply channelling Dave Grohl in this mid 20s on Neverland hitting us all in the face. Something we are still trying to figure out (The impact of Nirvana).
Newton clearly indicated that when we discuss force, mass and ability to accelerate it is of importance. And here is this girl who does not just copy the drum pattern, but channels Grohl's straight in the face raw punk approach coupled to being almost melodic. She should simply not have enough mass. Nor should she have enough control over rhythm when blasting all her mass onto a drumset at her age. And yet - she does.
03:25 - beast mode. She's outrageously talented.
So young, so talented, and already a legend among rock legends. Has blown away Robert Plant when she covered a Zeppelin song, impressed the hell out of KISS, not to mention the countless numbers of rock legends she has had the opportunity to jam with like Carmine Appice, Mike Portnoy, and Billy Sheehan just to name a few. This little girl is going to be a rock legend when she grows up. Thank you God for this beautiful gift that you have given us to enjoy and let her fill our lives with her love for music.
This little gal is so amazing, that I think she is already a "Rock Legend". BTW I'm sure you know by now that she covered YYZ by Rush and of course nailed it with less than half the drums Neil Peart had. Neil was one of the best Rock drummers of all time, (rest his soul). Soooo Young and super talented.

Why am I not surprised that this was the best drum cover of the song I have seen on RUclips, and almost everyone else who played it were adults.
I used to cover this song with my grunge and alternative rock band back in the 90s to 2000s, so I know it as only a rock musician and band leader can.
I suddenly had a urge today to RUclips search "Dave Grohl drumming", and after watching a lot of what came up, I decided to go see drum covers on SLTSpirit. Listened to the first 8-10 or so that came up, leaving Yoyoka's cover for last.

I don't think (as a fellow rock musician especially) you need to say much more than that to another rocker.
Just hope (if that is what she wants to do with peers around her age) that I can live long enough to see more of her drumming, with her own rock band and original songs.

And for people comparing Yoyoka with Nandi, as good (debatable) as Nandi is, there’s really no comparison with the skill, feel and groove that Yoyoka exudes without even ‘showing off’. I’m sure (hopefully) both ladies will improve the older they get. And I can’t wait.
I’ve seen/watched so many awesome female drummers including all the current Japanese ladies and even Sina, so far, Yoyoka’s skills are way better than them when they are at her age IMHO. She’s a league of her own.

I don't know what I like more...her playing or how much fun she's having. She's all cute and smiles but when that famous guitar riff intros the song, she's off and running!. Beating those drums every bit as hard as Grohl...and just that big ol' grin on her face while she's jamming. You can tell she really loves to play. A lot of kids get coerced into playing some instrument: piano lessons, flute, clarinet...so many parents want their children to be musical in anything...this young lady is meant for these drums. I hope we see her go on to make beautiful music for everyone to jam out to!
