GOT TONS OF NEGATIVE PRESSURE BEFORE BEING SHIPPED TO KOREA; BUT IM NOT A WEAK PERSON;I DONT DRINK OR SMOKE;AND BECAME AN INTERNET CAFE GURU/ HIP HOP FASHION GURU WHILE IN KOREA!;LOL!
I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't go to strip clubs. I prefer keeping to myself, just like I did as a civvie. Difference is, I do make every effort I can to get outta my barracks to have fun, so don't worry.
My son is currently in AIT, 68W. This video is perfect! You've mentioned every single thing my brother and co-worker (both former Navy) stressed to my son NOT to do.
I always told my soldiers go out and buy a beater for around $3000. Basic transportation. Don't go broke over something that's going to depreciate 20% in the first year. I recommend listening and/or reading Dave Ramsey. Learn to budget.
For those young Soldiers who want to get married, my advice in what I did. Go to Church, I found my wife a few months going to a local Catholic Parish and met a cute pious girl, we courted for a few months before I popped the question to her father (P.S meet your future in-laws and make a good impression) asking permission before I slipped the ring on her finger. We both are still happily married and still in the Army today. I met soldiers who married this way they are happy as well, others are on their 3rd divorce because they ask the first woman they sleep with, don't be that guy. Live a life by your integrity.
that’s a horrible idea. then ur getting married married. marry someone that’s in the army and get a pre nup so when u get out u can just get a divorce no questions asked
@@anthonysciabarrasi2611 how shallow of a sentiment you have towards matrimony. I'm going to get theological on you besides the American Consumerist view of marriage that it's only for pleasure and once you lose the material benefit from it should be discarded is sickening.
@@darthkillhoon ok put ur clearly religious beliefs and bias aside. we’re talking abt 18-20 year old mainly men trying to get out of the barracks. they aren’t going to no damn church and meeting a nice virgin girl. especially not one that they wanna spend the rest of their life with
I think not much changes through the years. As a soldier in the 80's we all knew a handful of guys getting married after a month with a girl or getting ripped off at used car places at stateside units (MEEEE) Don't date Soldiers i seen to many times the aftermaths when you work in the same units there is no escape. Back in the day of no internet/cell phones we had to find entertainment and the AFRC (Armed forces recreation center)In Germany specifically offered low cost 3 day trips along with weekly trips all over Europe. Me and my friend took advantage of this many times seeing Europe by getting off for 3 day weekends since there is alot of down time between going to the field unlike stateside units where the field is right outside the motor pool basically so more time for training then overseas units. Your only young and in the Army for a short time in your long life so take advantage of all you can while your in.
ILL NEVER FORGET A STRIPPER GETTING MAD AT ME FOR LOOKING OUT ON A SOLDIER BLOWING HIS MONEY;NOW I WAS A STRIP CLUB VET AND A SGT. SO I KNEW THE ROPES AND HAD TO LOOK OUT FOR HIM!
I did at least three of those things you just mentioned and I deeply regret it now. But, I will bounce back from it though and become a lot better now.
I’m 66 years old. In 1975 I was a private in the MPs. Got married way too early. Purchased a brand new Chevy truck. I only made 500 a month. Was always broke. Don’t do these things. Focus on your career, forget marriage, drive a used car or motorcycle. Go overseas and see the world. Don’t stay stateside if you can help it. Go to Europe or Alaska, Korea. See. Something you normally would not be able to afford. Have fun.
Thanks so much for all your videos they really helped me out so much figuring out what I want to do and how to do it! I’m go to meps tomorrow for my med exam signing up to be a 15U with hopes to become a chinook crew chief!
Thank you this video was very helpful I graduated Ait November 5th And I will be certified as a 92 alpha and I will be heading to Ft. Wainwright Alaska for my first duty assignment
Bro it is super fucking cold up there. When I was at Fort Lewis I went up there to visit my boy he was up there and we went and watched the Alaskan King salmon run and did a bunch of cool shit up there but if you’ve never been in the cold you’re about to be up for some shit💨😂😂
First thing I’ll do is buy a house where my mother can stay and not work I’m tired of her working for her rent .. I don’t care if it takes me 20 years I’ll het my mama a house

Very solid advice, this is what I'll plan to do
This has to be the best advice ever for the young ones. My son is currently at AIT when he goes to his first station I will be giving him a Audi.

Almost 850,000 soldiers are in jeopardy because they are not going to take the jab. Good for them.
Okay..?

Tip from me: use your va loan to get into real estate early:)

Your honest opinion who is better CAG or DEVGRU

I feel like this guy left the army as a e-4 , I feel like this guy's never passed the apft
If you watched his other videos you’ll see that he made E5
Buy a motorcycle when you get on base
spending 1900$ on some stripper seems kinda pathetic
Don't be a jabronie!
