  • One of my favourite Barry songs. In the interview with Jay Leno he talks about singing CSWY with a Japanese girl who sang in a perfect Brooklyn accent. I have a Japanese friend who also speaks English with a Brooklyn accent, thanks to Barry. This one's for you.

The sincerity of his singing and showmanship is far superior in his era of music

It was great that Jay Leno had Barry Manilow on his show so many times. Now that all the late night hosts are younger, they don't have the older performers on their shows much anymore.

I love this guy so much. He looks so divine here! And the sax solo was great, as well. This whole video is amazing, thanks for posting it.

Second single from the 1989 "Barry Manilow" LP. Shortened version from the LP, with a live band. Dana Robbins is the sax soloist.

This was from his 1989 album self titled "Barry Manilow". It also included "Keep Each Other Warm" & my favorite "Please Don't Be Scared".

Has Barry been singing CSWY in a Brooklyn accent?
What's Brooklyn accent like? I can't find out the difference.
Anyway, I'm glad he was very impressed by that Japanese girl.

Poor little fella... his shoulder pads make his head look tiny. I like Barry and this song but prefer the studio version!
