Frfr they might have some flaws but I really got no height towards the transformer franchise they're unique in their own little way and I love them all because of it
I love that Jetfire sounded like an old pirate.
Seeing this transformation on tv is one thing but actually putting it together in the real world... mad props to the designers pure talent.

So glad. i really hated the phase of single button or twist transforms that where flooding the stores when I was a kid. I always preferred the super complex ones I got when I was really young.
I never liked easy to transform toys, i used to play more during transformation than with car/robot

Thats the only thing that bothers me about it: That they couldn't stuff everything inside the body. I still got one, though, because Blackbirds are awesome and I will not have anyone debate me on this.

Jetfire's upper body is a gun.
The barrel was literally part of his face.
So when Optimus asked for The Fallen face, it might not necessarily Optimus that asked that. The old bot was cranky and demanding his pound of... parts.
The toy is fascinating to watch, but I was like.. hey, this music... This music is something else.

All I can say is that it's amazing how far they've come in engineering these kind of toys. I wonder if automation will be the thing in 10-20 years.
In my opinion the greatest atrocity committed by Michael Bay in reference to Transformers is his treatment of Jetfire. Absolutely unforgivable.

Given all transformations are like this and Devastator has EIGHT PARTS in the movie, I am not really sure about that.

God, this looks so damn good. Despite Jetfire's under belly in vehicle form (I forgive it cause it's hard to fully conceal a transforming figure), it was really well done, and puts Hasbro to absolute shame. Where do I pick myself up one of these online?

As a kid in the 80s I was obsessed with Transformers, but luckily nothing this detailed existed back then as I would have broken it in so many ways.
Deym. Those people who created this are geniuses. They definitely looks like the transformers from the real movie.
Made me missed those original transformers back in the 80's, I remember each of them came with instruction manuals on how to transforms and they used better quality materials
I remember when I was in the 5th grade my friend Jason brought an Optimus to the school I was really amazed by how cool it was being able to transform like that. I never had one my parents never bought me toys like that. Makes me miss my buddy too.
This figure looks a lot better than the leader class Jetfire from 2009.
I gotta be honest... Jetfire is very strong for a one billion year old robot.

Yeah. Not impressed. Out of curiosity, I've watched a few of these Transformer toy videos. There is an incredible amount of engineering and creativity involved in creating these things. I can't imagine any adult that would give these things to a 10 year old kid. Too complex for most kids with a short attention span. Teenagers maybe. Adults? What kind of adult plays with toys?

I remember having a big bag of transformers Autobots and decepticons. Then we unexpectedly had to move which ended up being forgotten. I think about that bag everyday
Diamond be laughing When I was 6 I had a grocery bad of transformers that I forgot on the city bus. I also still think about that bag.
I just hope to GOD that the people who had to think of translating the movie so well to merchandise is paid well because damn is that accurate.

@@Keti_Mporta Right, I think he rips his spark out I can't remember for sure right now. Then says use my part's to basically be a super optimus then just leave it there after. They could have put at least the flight technology in his trailer. Then could have made a reference to jet-fire in the future movies. They mess up a lot of stuff that they could really make big parts sometimes. Thats what puts a lot of people off from going back and watching them. I'm not like that I've been a transformer fan all my life. They do have a way of disappointing you in one way or another in the movie's. I was pissed when they showed the dinobots in the commercials for the movie like they were gonna be assertions the whole time. I went waiting and waiting at the end they finally came in when optimus gets them. Then the movie's over, same deal as jet-fire pretty much the dinoboots were in a little longer. I hope they do Bumblebee 2 right thats got some good potential

When I was younger this is how toys were made.. now looking at them it’s sad to see how downhill they are and cheap.
I agree. The $10 Deluxe clClass from 2007 are better than today's $20 Studio Series. Matter of fact, I rebought some of the 2007 Deluxe Class (3 for $40 off of Ebay lol) and they are tons better than both Studio Series figures. 2007 Deluxe Class 2007 Camaro Bumblebee is still my favorite. And Premier 2010 class Human Alliance series is too. Those were worth the $20-25. I want a Cybertron SIEGE one, but it's $30 and I'm it's going to be cheap like the Studio Series.
Note: The Studio Series is NOT the same as the Movie Masterpiece Series. Movie Masterpiece are phenomenal (or so I've seen from reviews) and pricey. Studio Series is just pricey for bad quality.
Dude no they weren't. Even the die-cast transformers of old were never this detailed and intricate. The variety of good and bad quality toys today outnumber those at any time in our history.

I'm 45 the transformers from my generation where not this detailed. I prefer these new transformers with more detail and complex
Idk how old you are, but they were nowhere close to this intricate 30 years ago. I would never buy this for 7-10 year old me.
These transformers that require a degree in quantum engineering would have made 8-10 year old me far happier and far more fun that the ones that were around when I grew up.

That's bloody lovely. Just started collecting TF and become pretty obsessed with combiner, bought the Thunder Manus and just love the odd on its to beef up Prime.
I can't even imagine trying to make this transform, looks as complicated as a science project. Imagine how it must feel if you want to put it back into a vehicle
