    Hello. Great video on finally showing the solution on the static. But is the touch still working after the repair? And one last question. Is this paste the same thermal paste used in CPU cooling before applying the fan on top of it? Thanks in advance.

    Nice job, well done!
    Would this work after removing the clear film then apply the static paste along the top ? Just a thought that way u could have a clean perfect quality repair free of damage to the film, I've tried cutting along the lcd just under the gold line with a razor then peeled the film off leaving the gold line fully intact. Was perfect for about an hour then the static problem started to appear. So no luck :(

    That's undoubtedly a smart solution guys .well done !!!
    however i have some confusion as i have also been unsuccessful in sorting this static or ghost lines issue out .
    By this video do you mean that if we have remove the thin plastic film over the polarised film (due to being badly damaged) then we need not to put a new polarised film and we can simply add this glue and the static problem will go ???
    In this vide when you are putting the glue with the injection , the surface was so clean as if there is a new polarised film there , was it there or you just had cleaned the surface after removing the thin plastic film ?
    I once had changed the polarised film however this static issue came later on so I am a bit confused …:( .

    my screen is just comming up with blue and red lines. I tried plugging the backlight flex it worked fine but then when the other is plugged it goes black with boxes. any ideas what this could be?

    • @BigLacoste67
      @BigLacoste67 8 лет назад

      +Rakesh Kay Probably, the conductive material was applied on the flex on top of the LCD by mistake and short it. I saw same cases before.

    I was killing my self over this issue for one year \!!!!!! thank you guys

  • @BigLacoste67
    @BigLacoste67 9 лет назад

    I noticed that you applied OCA tape on the LCD. Once you put OCA tape, the static will go away, so your testing after apply conductive material isn't real test.

    • @PhoneFixPro
      @PhoneFixPro  8 лет назад

      +Stephan Shin what is OCA tape?

    • @BigLacoste67
      @BigLacoste67 8 лет назад

      +PhoneFixPro.com OCA (Optically Clear Adhesive) but never mind, we found the solution. This method never worked.

      That's the tester normal output. On a phone it doesn't display that.
