I just put Firestone Indy 500 on my STI and I am amazed at how they hook. They grip better than the Advans that came on the car stock, and they were super affordable. The tread pattern is aggressive too.
@Down Shifts I used to have Goodyear Eagle F1 before. It has better grip than Pilot Sport 4 S just a very slight difference so maybe it is better on track. But other than that, Pilot Sport 4 S is ahead on all other factors. So it is ideal for both track and streets like what Alex said.
Has the Michelin PSS on my Vette great tire. Replaced them with the Continental extreme contact sport so I’ll check back when I get some run in on them. Currently have the Michelin 4S on my Bullitt with 9K miles and still have a lot of tread left.
I really love the Falken Azenis FK510s. Super affordable, good tread wear, amazing dry grip, dependable wet grip, and it has never failed me in the canyons and autocross.
A lesser known 200tw track tire that it would be awesome if you guys stocked is the Maxxis VR-1. A friend and I ran these and were the fastest in our run group. The tires made up for our lack of power versus mustangs, camaros, and porsches, since we were driving a Toyota 86 and Lexus IS300 BEAMS swap. They are also super good bang for the buck, significantly better than the Federal RS-RR for around $30 more a tire.
Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's are also quite good. Comparable to the Pilot Sport 4S's. Not quite as good, but you get 90% of the performance at about 50% the cost
Cool , cause I got a set sitting in the shop waiting to get mounted. They seemed like they had good reviews Like the Honda kids were saying she won't hook in 3rd and now it does , stuff like that ,real unicorn shit ... fine by me cause the price was decent, like 125$ for a 215-40-18
I think they are the RE003s over here. They're okay but tend to overheat with track work. They are a good street tyre that wears fairly well for not much money. Good steering response.
Was just looking at tires for the road that will give some traction, currently have Firehawk Indy 500 ‘s and they just burnout even at 60mph. Gonna give r888 a try if not just sticking to radials
I got a set sitting in the shop, cause that's what I heard that they are fairly sticky. Heh, I'm a little older than most of the kids here and I stepped up to some new wheels ,and was waiting to sell a left nut for a tire and/or having to settle with junk low performance tires. I scored a 215-40-18 for like 125$ each. More than I've ever spent for a tire but I was expecting them to be 175$ or more.
Been running on Champiro SX2 for the last 2 years now, it's a semi but weirdly it handle rain and wet surface quite well. But the meatynes of the tire is on point
Can you guys make a video for new people, completely explaining the order you should mod your car to keep it balanced and not damage anything? I think I’ve seen a video of you elaborating a little bit on that but I’m eager to jump in and I don’t want to fall straight on my face by adding a tune, cia, intercooler and exhaust and then ruin something else because I didn’t balance it out! I’ve been trying to find a building guide everywhere but it’s harder to find than I thought :/
I did my first track day in a stock Miata on Falken Azeris RT660s and while I can say those are by far the best tires I’ve ever had, I probably didn’t need that much grip and they’re only 87tw so they were bald at the end of the day as I had about a year of street driving on them
What are people’s thoughts on the Nitto NT555 G2’s compared to those on this list? I’m looking get a pair for my summer tires in the Pacific North West where we can get some pretty substantial rain.
They are pretty good in the dry and have a great price point. I dont track them but do some aggressive back road driving. They are a little sketchy in heavy rain and I've had a few hydroplane incidents on the highway. Anything under 500hp they preform pretty well. I'd buy another set for sure. 👍
Is your website only available to people in the U.S,I'm in the UK but can't see any thing on your site when I click on wheels or tyres or anything else it just goes blank
What tires would you prefer for a 2019 Accord sport 2.0 that are meaty , have great traction and last well and that are fairly sticky??? A good upgrade from stock this will be my first time change from stock and that are good in the rain also
Okay so you said RS3, but seriously though.... RS4 is where it’s at. Great stick in the dry, great hydroplaning resistance, they wear like iron at the track, and most importantly they can handle an absurd amount of heat before going greasy.
Why did you talk about the Hankook RS-3 and not RS-4, it's replacement? Anyways my friends all love the Vitour Tempesta Enzo. More grip than the RS-4 yet very nice to daily drive as well. Best part is it's super cheap.
I have been running RE71R for years. My favourite street and autox tire. However They get way too hot and greasy at lapping days and will not last long. 2-3 lapping days max.
Bro, props for putting a fun vid together but Have to call you out man, no way you're 25 you obviously have not driven these tires to review anyone can read about tires and make suggestions but does that help the driving community? oh and Rally is not autocross...showing dirt track clip for proxes? and MOST important, to say an NT05R is a good rain tire option, you discredit your whole of suggestions. Watchers Beware, get your advice from drivers bot readers that are great at video editing. Enjoyable viewing, just a ton of misinformation, even of you are somehow 25 ;)

I think you guys definitely overlooked the Bridgestone Potenza RE003, reasonably priced and awesome handling 🤙🏼
I just put Firestone Indy 500 on my STI and I am amazed at how they hook. They grip better than the Advans that came on the car stock, and they were super affordable. The tread pattern is aggressive too.
I ended up getting the contenintal sport contact 6..
Cup 2r
I run different tyres on all 4 corners of my car to get the best that all the tyre brands can offer
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌
That’s even better than running double rubbers
Nobody:
Britain: Tyres
My cars both run Continental Extreme Contacts and they are fantastic wet and dry from my experience
Pilot Sport 4 S. The best all around tire out there.
@@jomari369 how about 4WD/AWD?
Has the Michelin PSS on my Vette great tire. Replaced them with the Continental extreme contact sport so I’ll check back when I get some run in on them. Currently have the Michelin 4S on my Bullitt with 9K miles and still have a lot of tread left.
Bang for the buck.... forgot the Federal RS-RR
I heard RS-Pro is better in grip and comfort
I really love the Falken Azenis FK510s. Super affordable, good tread wear, amazing dry grip, dependable wet grip, and it has never failed me in the canyons and autocross.

On my third set of NT05s. Still my favorite overall.
Hey man, what do you have them on.??
Personally I run FIREHAWK Indy 500 on my Rsx
You’re like the car, Linus tech tips
Only for the track : Nankang AR-1 .
Daily and track : Michelin Cup2.
Glad to see pilot sport 4s on here since i just picked up a set with my wheels from you guys. They handle amazing
Glad you like them!
Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's are also quite good. Comparable to the Pilot Sport 4S's. Not quite as good, but you get 90% of the performance at about 50% the cost

The intro alone triggered some suppressed memories... thanks... I miss Sasha.
Federal rs-rr are dope just a little loud for the road but that doesn’t stop me
Please more of these. Like five from each price range.
I've seen car throttle put nankang ns2r's on their bmw, bumped the hp up to 400 and they held up very very good, great traction. What do you think?
Love the Toyo r888r
Was just looking at tires for the road that will give some traction, currently have Firehawk Indy 500 ‘s and they just burnout even at 60mph. Gonna give r888 a try if not just sticking to radials
Toyo r888r. C6 z06 527whp. 30 roll in first dead hooks. Insanity. However for track usage probably go with ps4s or continental extreme
*_"The treads came back a match, Mashimoto ZX tires, so we know it's somebody in the illegal street racing world."_*
Firehawk Indy 500 are great for the price
I got a set sitting in the shop, cause that's what I heard that they are fairly sticky.

That’s what I just WRAPPED my Enkei RPF1s in 255/35/18 tbe
I bought 2 full sets for 2 different cars. Great tire all around.
I bought a set for my car just wished i had upgraded the width on my stock tire but wasnt sure if that was possible.. still arent sure lol
NTO5... I NEEEEEEED THEM!!!!
Day 146 of asking Ja...hang on...ohh...I think I’m lost
I literally clicked on this from a donut video from this🤣🤣
Been running on Champiro SX2 for the last 2 years now, it's a semi but weirdly it handle rain and wet surface quite well. But the meatynes of the tire is on point
You missed the Bridgestone RE71R. Hands down the best 200TW tire for Autocross, street and track mixed use...
Was running the Super Sports and now I’m waiting for that slow boat from Japan for my wheels so I can run my new 4s’s.
How about the continental extremecontact sport ??

Good suggestion!
Can you please do a video about drag radials?
i use hankook ventus v12 evo 2 they are nice and grippy
I have continental on my car and I love them.
Continentals are great👍
Just got some continental extremecontact sports for my little miata
I did my first track day in a stock Miata on Falken Azeris RT660s and while I can say those are by far the best tires I’ve ever had, I probably didn’t need that much grip and they’re only 87tw so they were bald at the end of the day as I had about a year of street driving on them
Fallen Azenis are a pretty iconic look too
Another great video guys.
Hankook RS3... Now that's a name I've not heard in a long time...
Do So You Want MazdaSpeed 6
FI Noti Gang slightly late
“Center rib design.... heh” come on Alex keep it together LOL
Opinions on Nitto Invos? Just ordered a set and im anxiously waiting!
Yo, what’s a good budget tire for street racing? Like roll racing.
But late but I'm running Toyo's new Proxes Sport A/S and so far they've great. Have yet to take them to a track day though...
Good for drifting
i would try *ad09 vs cup2* in the coming season on the NurRing, let's see

For the next vid you should do SO YOU WANT A OLDSMOBILE
Dunlop Direzza z1 star spec. I ran a couple of sets on a vw GTI. Get to full working temp/grip very quickly. Noisy on the street though.
🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾 -Edgar
How about the Pilot Sport A/S 4s which I run on my Challenger R/T Scatpack? BTW...I realize it's not a track vehicle lol.
Is your website only available to people in the U.S,I'm in the UK but can't see any thing on your site when I click on wheels or tyres or anything else it just goes blank
Our site is available everywhere! If you have a different browser I would suggest trying that!
Does it matter that I'm on a gen 2 iPad?
You should make a video about tires in smaller sizes like 15/16
This tires u talk about now are mainly 18-22
Alex, do you have any experience with continental extreme contact sport? And the new tire from Falken rt660?
I have michelin ps4s can't get traction off the line at all good for corners but if u have decent hp they won't hook up u will need semi slicks
Missed on Federal Evoluzion st-1
How does the continental extreme contact sport compare?
Are the toyo r1r good in rain is my question
What tires would you prefer for a 2019 Accord sport 2.0 that are meaty , have great traction and last well and that are fairly sticky??? A good upgrade from stock this will be my first time change from stock and that are good in the rain also
Federal SS 595's are amazing.
YOKOHAMA advan is great
I’m starting the video and I must say, if the Hankook RS4 isn’t on this list I’ll be disappointed.
Okay so you said RS3, but seriously though.... RS4 is where it’s at. Great stick in the dry, great hydroplaning resistance, they wear like iron at the track, and most importantly they can handle an absurd amount of heat before going greasy.
My car isn’t even legal for the street yet, here I am though
Nto5rs are a drag radial.. the NT01r is the road course tire
Drop the ramen receipt Alex make it a shirt
Day 18 of requesting: "So you want a renault alpine"
No Federal in this video?? What did they do to you??
Why did you talk about the Hankook RS-3 and not RS-4, it's replacement?
Anyways my friends all love the Vitour Tempesta Enzo. More grip than the RS-4 yet very nice to daily drive as well. Best part is it's super cheap.
No love for Falken RT660?
so you want a bmw isetta!!!
I got the Bridgestone potenza
Bruh, Bridgestone RE71R or Hankook RS4.
He mentioned the Hankook RS3. Not the RS4, but still Hankook!!
and the bridgestone rival 1.5s best yata tire out there
Really surprised re71r wasnt mentioned. First tire I thought of
I have been running RE71R for years. My favourite street and autox tire. However They get way too hot and greasy at lapping days and will not last long. 2-3 lapping days max.
Starting to feel like you guys just sit in a circle and ask yourselves:
*"What can we talk about that will help us sell more shit...?"*
Almost like they are running a buisness🤔
NT555
AD08R has been replaced with the A052 and the RS3 has been replaced with the RS4.
