- Update 4.009 has been released and with that comes the new update for the Velikie Luki map.
This sortie takes place above the updated map in the Yak-9T versus a bunch of He-111 (Unfortunately, their escort didn't want to help them out).
Note: This is not designed to be a historical mission but a fun little sortie.

Normandie-Niémen ont utiliser les Yak-9 T, la maniabilité et son armement était tous même redoutable! Surtout avec de bon pilote, il faut le reconnaître!.
What Razor just demonstrated was a competent slice and dice attack with excellent trigger control. Unfortunately, it was only marginally effective in the earliest stages. Once the bomb run was complete and the formation had been depleted, individual attacks aimed at ensuring crews wouldn't fly again could be conducted. All in all, I feel that this was an instructional video on how to conduct such attacks on medium bomber formations.

When shooting, the player shows good aiming and hits, when bombers pass through his sights, he fires only at the third or fourth target to do so.

I just started watching these flight sim videos, so forgive my ignorance … but I’m assuming those bomber formations are just AI? They’re not flown by other players correct?
Yes, this mission was a single player mission, so all planes were AI

In the second shot of the second pass, many tracers and their smoke can be seen passing; at least three bombers failed to him him as he passed slowly by, aiming at four aircraft and shooting only at the last one.
Have you considered adding an inflight commentary to your vids ?
Only in form of text, but not in talking.
@@Razor_Sim OK. I've seen some other channels like yours. The 'pilot' talks the listener through the flight and it adds quite a lot to the enjoyment. Cheers.

One sided battle. Try it against escort fighters. They would never send out a formation without escorts.

@@jerrydiver1 Lutwaffe was superconfident in the early months of the war. Lend lease aircobras helped put an end to that.
