These videos seem to be getting quieter? I suggest normalizing the volume before uploading. RUclips will turn the volume down automatically when it's too loud but not the other way round.
Right clicking on the video and clicking on "stats for nerds" shows the /original/ audio is actually 12.5db below RUclips's threshold, so RUclips hasn't applied any normalization to this one. And this is typical of my other uploads. This particular video actually sounds slightly loud on my end, but there are several variables in my recording setup. The angle of my mic changes, my physical distance from the mic changes slightly with my posture, and the cable from the mic to the PC is /very/ loose.
It actually took me FOREVER to get to high stakes on Checkered. I kept getting terrible joker setups on Green and Black stakes and Flushes are just so hard to scale that I could barely get past, like, ante 4 for a long time haha
hey doc! i love the videos so much. i was thinking of a fun challenge: turning the checkered deck into all clubs and diamonds without any seals/enhancements or cards added/removed? i think it would be a pretty neat challenge :)
Zaino and I did something similar before, converting the Checkered, Abandoned, and Erratic Decks into standard 52-card decks. It's in the office hours playlist with the FMA thumbnail.
