Back in the early 2000s, I played an english translated ROM of the NES version. This is lovely, but the star of this piece is the accompaniment, not the melody, and it has always been subdued in any remake. It hits just right on the NES version. This is one of my favorite overworld themes in the series.
@@majikalmcmuffin6258 Oh, I bought the FF1 - FF6 Pixel Remaster lol. Honestly, FF2 Overworld wasn't that bad. I think, I just loved this one so much :)
