But bro there was a time when cars from Alto to Ertiga were best in build quality. I have Alto 2013 model which is 766 kgs and today, the Alto has become just 714 kgs. The build quality of Maruti Suzuki cars is falling day by day.

We should focus more on to drive safely on road rather than driving safest car. Because safe car can save your life upto some extent but driving safely can fully avoid accidents.
Just completed my 5th trip from Pune to Jabalpur on Baleno Delta and also to indore and bhopal on old baleno (2021). Bought on 4th Nov 2021 and clocked 19600 kms in a Year and this year on Oct 24th 2022 bought another Baleno alpha. On my old baleno had done top speed of 170km/hr for a brief 30 secs and the car was pretty stable (Do not recommend this as this is just for my experience). Fuel economy in City was 19.5 per ltr and on highways it was 24. It was comfortable. This new baleno is just awesome. Just did another trip Jabalpur to Pune, it was non stop drive of 18hrs with 3 members onboard and the car was super comfortable and did not for min thought its leaving the grip and felt pretty heavy on confidence. Did do 130kms/hr and never felt unstable even for a min.. breaks are just great compared to old baleno. The bite of the breaks are on point. It returned 26km/ltr. Overtaking at high speeds are more fun and confidence inspiring. Music system needs no upgrade for me (coming from a man who loves listening to music as its a game changer, uplifts the mood and enhance the driving pleasure.) For safety, even if you are driving a ferrari, you will have be cautious of your environment. Anything can happen, we have to be paying attention all the time. Build quality has also improved, doors feel heavy.. do not go by what reviewers have to say, please experience it urself to make a verdict. I m not saying, its the best car but its not the least for sure. Its got decent power, torque is a little less but overall for indian conditions, its sufficient. If wanted to get performance and luxury and safety, please be ready to pay extra money to get all of that. At the end the best car is the one that you own.. its an emotion and not just a car is what i believe.

We saw a lot of cars and zeroed down to this new Baleno in May this year after a lot of contemplation. I am glad to say that we were more than happy with our decision when we went on a 6000 km road trip across 10 states (round trip from Delhi to Goa and back via another route). The points I still remember are:-
It was the peak of summer and still the AC was so chilly that we had to keep it on 1 level only.
The cabin is so silent that all our conversations while driving were recorded easily (we had video recorded the trip).
The comfort level was awesome and even after 500 km per day on a daily basis and living in motels and hotels each night we never really got tired.
The boot space is sooo much that we could pack in 3 weeks of stuff easily.
The automatic does trouble you when overtaking on highways, coz automatic has its own brain it seems and takes time to shift gears, but it is a blessing in heavy traffic areas and never lets you get tired.
The music system is quite good too although the voice assist woman start speaking without prompting at times.
The hill assist is a real help on slopes, and even though the car lacks power, the hill assist keeps the automatic from slipping back on steep slopes.
The mileage is awesome and we managed a maximum of 26 kmpl in certain stretches and an overall of 20 kmpl across the trip.
Lastly, the looks are very good, specially when compared to the earlier Baleno (we have one in the same colour as you have).
Overall, a highly recommended car if you want to be comfortable yet stylish. Totally satisfied till now and a memorable trip for a lifetime.

I booked a alpha white today. But I came across videos where people are having negative feedback about the ac of the new baleno. Is his true ?
@@krisindia As mentioned, we never had any complains with the AC, not then, and not even now after one year of using the car. I don't know which people have problems with it! Maybe they should get their BP checked in case they are suffering from high BP (coz such people feel hot all the time).

Earlier this year my father got the new wagonR amt. That car has the same k12n engine as this baleno.
Firstly I was not happy with his decision but as I drove the car for a few times, I slowly began to like it.
City driving comfort is unmatched, tension free.
Space and seat quality is very good. Engine is refined. Service cost is low.
Maruti is popular among Middle class people like me because it doesn't drain money from your pocket after the purchase unlike Tata, Vw, skoda etc.

Saying from a live accident of my own relatives in amaze CVT car was at 110 kmph single lane road and a truck tried to overtake and making no room for us in our lane itself so the car hit another small tempo and rolled twice at the side of the road
Thankfully by the grace of God all 5 members including children and old parents were safe with small injuries

I feel tata being tough car have more weight and their aerodynamics doesn't match to other cars hence you can find many accident videos of tata cars where they show build quality but one question remains how so many cars involved.
@@Kal-el1285 I am driving Tata cars since last 5 years and trust me I have tested everything possible, even rolling it over at 90kmph in anger but it is built different. My father in law driving tata Indica which is about to complete 15 years. If you maintain it well then it won't give you problems.

Build quality is of no use. Accident can happen either in city or in highway. Lets say -
1. Accident happens in highway - when a car has accident at a soeed of 70-80 kmph, it doesn't matter how good is the build quality. When you hit a divider or a truck with that speed build quality can't help you.
2. Accident in city - bumper to bumber ya slow moving traffic pe kisi ki jaan nahi jati hai. Wahan build quality ki wajah se agar tata mein ek dent pade to maruti mein 2-3 dent padenge. But maruti ka repairing cost bhi tata se kam hai.
Aaj bhi road mein 20-25 saal purane maruti 800, zen, alto mil jati hain. Aur uss zamane mein build quality naam ki koi cheez nahi hua karti thi.
Top 3 best selling cars for 2023 are swift, wagon r and baleno. 6 lakh units sale hui hain. Kuch to baat hai.
Bhai Sahab you have xuv 700 also...I think Baleno is good for city drive. But remember those who have only 1 car at home and need to drive on highway as well..for them I do not recommend. I have Swift Amt......which I will sell very soon.

Correct sir i also using maruti baleno from last 5 years it is my best car wheather in terms of ride quality or average is unmatchable now we have harrier also but due to attachment and as a first car of my family we never sell our baleno i know its built quality is worst but than also we are happy with it in our local use

Not sure how it felt so planted for you. I drove my friends 2022 baleno alpha model and for some reason, it didn’t feel that planted. We were driving at 110kmph with 2 people including me and this car is not that stable at higher speeds because of the downward drag force which seems to lift the car from bottom due to less weight. Also, steering is not that responsive. However, this car is excellent for city purpose and beats all cars in its competition for mileage.

Ekdm sahi. Mera Altroz to bahat baar Service Centre me hi khadi rehti thi, kabhi fuel pump se kir kir sound, kabhi gear atakta tha, kabhi gaadi left side khichta tha. Gaadi achhi thi, lkin Service Centre tha ekdm bakwas, kuch bhi thik nhi kar pata tha. Bolta tha ki thik kar diya, 2 din baad same problem.
I20 patra is weaker than new baleno. There is more flex in the patra of i20. Try pressing both with one finger...you will have your answer

I would say one thing, har car har individual ke liye nahi hoti, sabka kuch requirement set hota hai, ji car poori krengi wahi lega na koi bhi.
For example, Sumit Bhai ke paas XUV700 hai, safe car waghera sab hai usme, unki family ko kahi Jana hai 100-200 km ke liye woh XUV leke niklenge, Baleno nahi.
Example 2, kisi ke pehli family car hai, highway pe chalna hai, ya naye driver hai, safety essential hojata hai, uske baad budget, maintenance etc.
Aise case mai Tata zyada sense bnati hai, sabka apna need set hota hai, naye driver ko kya pata refinement, performance falana, usko bas A to B Jana hai.
Toh Jo log tata ya Mahindra krte hai, apna dimag lagaye, tata and Mahindra ke apne cons hai aur bahot saare hai, aisa nahi hai ki maruti ki paapi hai,
