I'd say R4 is likely though you also have a chance of getting a B-stock board if you pay attention to the IV Works Discord server. Joe's B-stock boards are better than some A-stock boards out there haha
I'd say it depends on the switch and the sound profile you're after. I haven't gotten around to doing sound tests with the Av3 yet since I've been busy, so I can't say for certain which of the 3 plates is my favorite.

I always love the way keyboards like this work, but I don't think I could ever type effectively on them. I can get anywhere from 150-170wpm, but I do weird things like my left hand for Y, right hand for B, etc. I'm sure I'd get used to it but it would be weird for a while.
It offers the same smoothness performance as 205g0, but in a slightly thicker form. You just have to use less and you're fine. If you want to play it safe then only lube the stem or the bottom housing rails. It's totally fine imo!

I use my Av3 daily and am more comfortable with it now than a standard layout. Av4 is coming soon too!

Unfortunately I can't tell you if the sound is better or not. It's up to you to determine what sounds best since it's your preference!
