@@Eusebiuspiano Yes, I'm so glad you did this one! If I can put in one more request which I think you'll like too: Chilly Gonzales - Gogol (Paris Je T'Aime soundtrack). ^___^

@@EdEditz I had never heard of it, but I just listened, and what a perfect piece! So mysterious. Thank you for putting it on my radar. I will see what I can do- first I must check if there is sheet music.

@@Eusebiuspiano Oh cool! I was certain you would have heard of it because it is so much in the same direction as the Amelie music. I'm glad I was able to introduce you to it. :)

@@EdEditz okay, I just found the sheet music, sight-read through the piece. I think it’s pretty doable, but has some tricky parts so I might need to practice it first. 😂 lol

I meant to upload last week, but all of my footage turned out blurry so I had to redo everything! I have been playing this piece for almost 2 decades and it is the only piece that I always have memorized! I first saw the movie "Amelie" when I was 10 years old and then I immediately rushed to buy the film score. Ahh.. back in the days when sheet music was still sold in music stores. I like to think that I am a hipster because I played this piece before it was cool. I think the entire soundtrack is brilliant. What piece of music have you played for the longest?

Wonderfully played! I can really tell there's almost two decades of practice behind this piece. Your playing is so solid and confident! I had a question regarding the name of your channel. Did you name your channel after the historian and polemicist Eusebius? If so, did you take inspiration from Rousseau naming his channel after the french philosopher (Jean-Jacques Rousseau)?

Hi Piano Spiel, thanks! I am always so touched by your lovely comments. My channel is named after the pen-name/alias of the composer, Robert Schumann. Eusebius was considered the thoughtful, contemplative side of his personality, whereas the alias "Florestan" was considered Schumann's manic side. In order to explain the extremes of his personality, it is theorized that Schumann had either bipolar disorder or syphilis. He also composed a lovely piece named Eusebius. Here it is: ruclips.net/video/DHSDwfM0y_U/видео.html

It's always a pleasure to leave a nice comment. Thank you for explaining that to me! It's interesting how Schumann's music reflects his personality as you described it, thoughtfull, contemplative one moment and intense and wild the next. I'll watch that video :)
