Oh I am so here for the juniper and birch love! Living north of the Arctic Circle, my local biosphere is quite different from Central Europe. A lot of the common witchy plants and trees just don't grow here. Birch is the most dominant species of tree here. It's everywhere. To me, birch feels very lively and cheerful, when it stands next to salix (goat willow), scot's pine, and the evergreen plantations that are pretty much the only other species of trees we've got here. In my yard, I have birch, scot's pine and several juniper bushes. Where pine and juniper feel very protective, grounding, fatherly, solid and stable, birch stands in contrast as more water-like with their gentle limbs that sway, rustle and sing in the wind. Especially in summer, I feel like birch is very chatty, hahah.
    My favorite, though, is juniper.

I love to hear how different people work with pants and how they connect with them. Great video ❤

A couple I've been connecting to lately have been willow, purple deadnettle, cascade blackberry (canes are more like thin flexible vines than brambles, and the thorns are smaller and snag on everything so it's AMAZING as a binding plant), Yarrow, nootka rose, blue elder, lavender, and the black stem peppermint.

Hops is a plant that reached out to me at the time when I was looking for plant allies in healing from anxiety. I was told it connects me with my ancestors, and I've experienced it having a lovely soothing, calming and supportive effect. 😊 My other prominent plant allies are nettle, thistle, thyme, mugwort, passionflower, sycamore tree, lemon balm and st John's wort. 💚

As a follow up, we also have oak, juniper and ground ivy where i live, and I love all of them as well. I specifically work with Juniper often as it grows all over my property. He is very very into protection/cleansing in my practice and experience as well 🖤

I adore ground ivy . It's always grown in the areas I live in. Here in the Midwest we call it creeping Charlie. People say it's annoying but I find it far more charming then grass.

Actually Thor has historic connections to Oak! There was a pagan symbol in Germany called Thor’s Oak that was destroyed in secret by St Boniface while trying to convert pagans in the area. I don’t know much beyond that but very interesting that it has such a deep connection!

Funny for me oaktrees feel safe and earthy and give me grounding vibes. Super interesting how it gives different vibes! The red oak (Quercus rubra) gives me fire and more outgoing power vibes. For me the red oak is really "bam in your face" "here I am" vibes.
    Edit:
I lived in a little village inthe forrest. There where so many Juniper bushes. Sadly now I live in the City, but when I visit my mother the next time it's time to forrage some plant parts. If you like I could get you some Juniper branches an send them to you. ^^

So excited for this! I believe even if you don’t click or work with native plant spirits you should at least know their role in the local ecosystem and know why they are important

Oak trees are known as a keystone species by ecologists - they provide food and shelter for soooo many different animals and are a vital part of the ecosystem! I wonder if that's one of the reasons it feels so energetic and protective for you? :) So cool!

I have always loved Sweet mint plants. My grandfather used to have a mint patch on the side of his house. As a kid I used to go out there and pick some for our iced teas. It really made an impression on me as that was probably 45ish years ago and I can still smell it in my memory. I will go out of the way to grow it and use it. Thanks for sharing your favs.

i love yew also! i used to play underneath some shrubs with my former best friend (here people cut them into bushes, but they get so big and wonderful when you let them grow!!) anyways because it would rain and we would hide under them, i also associate them with protection and warm energy :)

man. just come to my place. I have like... only junipers on my property. you can take as much as you can hide from customs in the airport. lol plus some ravens live in a tree right outside the gate.

Yes that's so interesting! :-) for me too, an oak tree feels more like an old wise strong king or druid. Definitely protective, but rather earthy and grounding than fiery

If you have any neighbours/community members who get a tree or shrub removed, or do spring or fall pruning, you may be able to gather or ask for some of the clippings! I did that for a cedar tree with my neighbours.

I love that, while blackberry isn't that welcoming of a plant, people flock to them to pick their berries. It really brings me so much joy to see people making the rounds on their bicycles, visiting all the blackberry bushes they know to find, just for some tasty treats ☺️
As for plants I'd like to connect to, I'd really love to spend some more time with elder, ash and beech 😊

3.does the soul stays individual for eternal time after libration from birth & death cycle or when it didn't get libration from that cycle or even any how?
