Hi Andrew. A Kid Congo album, that is worth picking up. I did buy his new autobiography. I use to have that Dirtbombs album, I need to get that again. Okay, I can’t read my writing- Jack Moves? , the soul album. I grew up in the 70s and that was pure early 70s soul, sounded wonderful. I need to check that out. Meatbody, that was pretty heavy. I liked the drone of those guitars. Enjoyed the samples. Martin Jones, he has a VC channel out of Detroit, he had a lot of video footage of that Ronald McDonald band. He goes to a ton f punk concerts and records them, great guy.
Yeah, Jack Moves. It’s cool stuff. All of Kid Congos albums are really good. You’d dig his stuff. Let me know what you think of his biography once you finish with it. I’ll check out Martin Jones. If he’s into Mac Sabbath, I’ll dig his channel. Thanks.
Great vid Andrew. Glad you are back always enjoy your recommendations I have one for you to check out. The Jackets are very garage like female fronted. Been around for 15 yrs or so and have several lps. I like ‘em a lot. They are on Bandcamp , RUclips, Facebook etc. hope you like ‘em.
Hey Andrew! I wasn't familiar with any of these. Some very interesting listens. The samples are so helpful. I've never heard of the In the Red Records label, not surprising. But The Dirtbombs sounded cool. I may give them some attention. I'm happy to see the word is spreading about you coming back!
Hey Andrew. Great to see you back in action. So much good stuff out there on In The Red. Enjoyed your spotlight. Cool to see Six Organs of Admittance getting some love. Cheers!
Appreciate it. I think this is the only Chain on In the Red. The rest are all on different labels. Six Organs is worth checking out. All really good stuff.
Mick Collins is a national treasure, everything he does is gold. Mick C. is in a new band called WolfManhattan Project w/ Kid Congo if you don’t already know. I’ve been buying records from ITR since the early nineties, just bought the new Cheater Slicks from the label as well.
Agreed about Mick Collins. Everything that guys does is gold. I have the first WolfManhattan Project lp. I read awhile ago a 2nd album was on the way but haven’t been able to find anything else about it. ITR puts out so many good albums. Probably my favorite label.
Promenade Blue is a great album. I really dig his sound. I don’t think Ty Segall has a bad album. He’s also one of the nicest musicians I’ve ever met and he is awesome live. I appreciate you watching.
Fast food Gwar! Mostly unknown stuff. I know Ty Segall, but you didn't show him and I know bands that Kid Congo played in. The only one I have any real familiarity with is Six Organs of Admittance. I mentally lump them in with Cul De Sac and Pelt. Thanks, Chris
Another great selection of LP's. Watching your videos makes the want list bigger and bigger. Love The Meatbodies! Thanks
Glad to help feed the beast that is a record collection. The Meatbodies are awesome. Thanks for watching.
Listened to this while getting ready for work. Cool way to start off the day.
Thanks, buddy.

Sounds like that would be in my wheelhouse. Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll check them out.

Appreciate it. I love the Dirtbombs. Definitely worth checking out.
I have some Jon Spencer, Ty Segall and Thee Oh Sees on In the Red Recordings. Great label indeed.
They have a great catalog

Appreciate it. Six Organs is a band I haven’t listened to in years but now I’m hooked again.
Chain got stuff on K Recs too. Six Organs sounds cool...
Good to see you back!

Must dust off Six Organs of Admittance's Dust and Chimes. Haven't spun that one for years!
I hadn’t listened to Six Organs in years and now I’m going through a serious phase. Really dig that band right now. Thanks for watching.
It's so good to hear Jeff's theme song again. Did I tell you I played bass on it? 😁
Anyway, glad you're back!
I did it know you played bass on it. That’s awesome. Can’t tell you how much I appreciate it.

I need some more Ty Segall. I have Nick Waterhouse - Promenade Blue.

I really like Sessa and Six Organs Of Admittance.
Can you point me in the direction of some good new country besides Sturgill Simpson and Colter Wall?
@@AsTheTableTurns yeah, I really like Vincent Neil Emerson, Charlie Crockett, and Tyler Childers.
@@TalesfromtheCrate-gn7we Cool! Thank you!

Fast Food Gwar--I love that. Kid Congos solo stuff is great if you like the bands he’s played with. Thanks for watching.
