Nice list. Excited to see you are a big Tom Petty fan he is my all time favourite. Also big Beatles, Stones, Wilburys, Who fan. One band I would like you to try as a Canadian and since you have both the stones and REM on your list is the Tragically Hip. This are very stones inspired and I think they’re one of the most underrated bands of all time had an amazing stretch in the 90s. I would recommend their album Road Apples it would definitely make my top 10
do you have any Elton John on this list? it seems that the vinyl community is just skipping Elton as far as being a good album artist. i think, in my best, hed be in the top 5 as one of greatest classic album artist among The Beatles , Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.
Hi rockboy680 !! I follow you !! I like very much your videos. I alzo have a passion for music, indeed I also make videos on youtube about my collection on rock music, and a few reviews. In my opinion the best band in the world is dire straits, I also learned to play the guitar with te tecnique of fingerpicking !!!! Great video !!!!
wow great first part I would find this so hard to choose. congratulations on 2000 subs you and a few others have inspired me to test the waters a bit and make my first very very quick video. if you get a chance pls have a look and feedback (sorry if you do I know you're not a big Queen fan and it's about a Freddie Mercury boxset and the quality of my camera leaves a lot to be desired but I thought I'd have a go) take care can't wait for part 2!
new mercury thanks mate :) pleased you enjoyed it. Haha yes just headed over to your channel. Had a good time with your first video. Hope to see more from you soon. Take care mate
hey James, congrats again on 2000, well over now even. I've always said you have one of the best channels, glad everyone agrees with me haha. Ambitious project here haha. I don't know if I'd have the balls to do it, but as you said it's a moving list, and nothing that can't change later on. Not a bad album among your first 25, so makes me certainly wonder what is yet to come haha. I can only imagine the cream of the crop! Well I think we all have also learned what your top album for 2016 is haha, that is unless there is a higher ranked on in the next lot, but something tells me we know already hehe. Super job, these are a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to pt. 2. Take Care James
VinylCollector James thanks you so much for the very kind words mate :) still can't quit believe that I'm at the magic 2000. Haha :D well my top album for 2016 might be an easy prediction so I had better not do a contest like the one you did last year. Haha. Well we know I couldn't get away with that anyway. Lol :) part one coming soon mate and you can see the cream of the crop. Haha :) speak to you soon mate. Take care
Great video James. Some of my top albums are, 1. Beatles-Hey Jude 2. Led Zeppelin 4 3. The Who - Who's Next 5. Tom Petty - Damn The Torpedoes 6. Eagles - Hotel California
Great list! It would be so hard for me to make a top 50 album list, so many great album to chose from! Glad to see Tom Petty get some recognition, he really has put out some of the best albums of all time.
MikeVernon Productions thanks mate :) yes was not an easy thing to do but was a lot of fun. Yer tom petty has always been one of my very favourites. Take care mate

Thoughts...Queen is Dead should be on this list. Genesis doesn't crack my top 500, but thats just me. If R.E.M. kept Shiny happy People and Radio Song OFF Out of Time, it would be loads better, one of their less inspired records.

Roger Evans awesome list mate. You got me on a couple there which I forgot. Breakfast in America is defiantly one of them. Take care mate :)
Wait until you see the Top 25 List. That was hard. I generally enjoy harder rock and British Metal. Progressive Rock is another genre I prefer.
Well done on hitting 2000 James. Well deserved. Interesting video and look forward to part two.

GYBR is a desert island record for me. A classic!
Derek Roberts he’s good but there are a lot of artists who make better albums, Bowie, Radiohead, Dylan, etc.

Hey Jude? You mean the single?
Is Hey jude an album?
@@johnentwhistlesurelysamsun1840
First notice.
And where is the number 4 of the list?🤔🤔
Hey Jude is an American compilation album released by the Beatles, so he’s probably referencing that Compilation album released in the early 70s
Congrats on 2000 subscribers man, you do deserve it dude, I am looking forward to making 10!lol
Great list! It would be so hard for me to make a top 50 album list, so many great album to chose from! Glad to see Tom Petty get some recognition, he really has put out some of the best albums of all time.
