    May I get an opinion?
    I work for a small company that creates metal parts for construction projects (metallic adornments for buildings, bike racks, curved beams for construction, etc.) Most of the work I am assigned involves AutoCAD. However, I do occasionally get a project requiring Inventor.
    I currently use a low-end laptop for the work (1.8GHz i7-855OU, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD). When I do get that rare assignment requiring a 3D render, it takes a while to complete the job. My boss would like to make those renders go faster. However, I do not want him to spend more money than he should, consider the gist of the work.
    What would you -- or anyone reading this -- recommend? I'm thinking that a desktop machine is not necessary, that a laptop would suffice. I do not think anything more than a 3GHz i7, 16GB RAM, a 1TB SSD, and maybe a low-end RTX 2070 or something along those lines, is needed.
    What say you?

      Thanks for the message! Those specs you mention would be fine. AutoCAD does not have very high requirements when working on smaller projects.
      I would go for something with a 14th gen Intel i5.

    You can easily install Autocad LT 2024 & Revit LT 2024 and work smoothly on intel i3 3rd generation processor. I have tested it on my Dell Laptop and 100% working. My Laptop specification is given below:-
    Processor - i3 3227U @ 1.90 GHz.
    RAM - 8 gb DDR3 @ 1600 MHz.
    SSD - 500gb SATA, speed of 540 MB/s Read and 500 MB/s Write.
    Integrated Graphics Card - Intel (R) HD Graphics 4000, 1792 MB VRAM.
    When I worked on Revit LT 2024, The CPU was working it's maximum base clock speed of 1.89 GHz and usage was around 26% only.

      Hi Sanish, great to hear your laptop is well suited to your needs.
      As we mentioned in the video, Autocad itself can be run with relatively minimal hardware, but you may want to consider newer, higher performance components for other reasons.
      This includes futureproofing, parts availability and compatibility, more modern features and greater software stability, and smoother performance in your other software and for general daily use.
      Thanks again for watching!

    What do you think about RTX 4060 for autoCad. and i5 13600k? please need your opinion. I will build for an architect.

    • @ModenaComputers
      @ModenaComputers  Год назад +2

      That would be a good spec, although AutoCAD doesn't need such a high-end GPU, but if that fits in the client's budget, then at least it allows for them to use other more GPU intensive programs in the future, such as Twinmotion.

    Hi, need advice, if I buy 48GB DDR5 coursair ram in total 192GB “CMK192GX5M4B5200C38”, will they work on all 13 Gen LGA 1700 motherboards? Or they only work on z790 only or also on b760? Can’t find clear info on supporting this ram modules on all brands still say max 128GB ram, with none specific QVL 48Gb supports in the description. Many thanks.

      Hey there, sorry for the late reply - you probably have your answer already. For the info of others, we have recently seen some B760 motherboards supporting 48GB modules as well so best to check with the manufacturer. With BIOS updates, I'm quite certain most B760 and Z790 motherboards support these new modules.

    HI,need advice
    Is there a difference in comfort between i7-13700F and i7-13700k in AUTOCAD?

    • @ModenaComputers
      @ModenaComputers  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hi there, thanks so much for watching. The 13700K is much more powerful, especially if the 13700K is overclocked as recommended. Please note that this requires a Z-series motherboard (e.g., Z790).

      It is possible that Intel Iris graphics would be able to run Autocad 2024, but we would recommend a dedicated GPU if possible.
