I think you should focus on the display as well and the color accuracy. Oled display will be preferred here. Also you need to elaborate that there are softwares that utilize CUDA cores of Nvidia, so it’s also something to consider

ABOUT MACBOOKS &IPADS Please don’t bother with a Mac as much as they have these softwares to run it in medium- large renderings is impossible and the sketch up has bugs from 2013 that are still not fixed I would recommend and iPad Pro for sketch up it’s very compatible there are no bugs but obviously can’t render anything huge but auto cad on iPad isn’t great but there are loads of different really cool architectural apps to use

I don't know much about the CPU-GPU things but from the videos I've watched the pc I bought performs well (but for games) because when I search on google it's advised to buy Nvidia GPUs rather than Amd. Id go for AMD models. Not cause I'm fan boy. But cause AMD runs cooler than intel. Plus if I'm not mistaken. They do have a 780 mobile GPU which is about 1650/60 desktop GPU which is pretty cool. AMD R7 MODEL would be nice. Unless you want intel for own matter of taste, then go for it.

@@turbo-car_jdm If you know how to drive liquid metal correctly you shouldn't have any problems, there are lots of examples of this on RUclips. When we come to the thermal pad thing, the cpu and gpu are thermal grizly can use the brand's paste, it will extend both the vrams and the cpu, gpu.

this might be a dumb question, but currently interning at an architecture firm and they gave me a Lenovo laptop, i think its an extra Ideapad 3 and not really a designated working laptop they would use, but my point being it cannot run revit or autocad full versions but rather the LT versions. So my main concern is that these laptops do run the full versions as I'll need them for school. Again maybe a dumb question and my given laptop is just not meant for those full versions but wanted to confirm before i trade in my mac for something on this list, otherwise great video!

If you decided to go intel. You need to go to bios and change something. Jaytwocents has a video a couple of weeks or days ago about it.

Need help picking one between this two laptop for a full time career in 3d cgi modeling.
1st option: lenovo legion 7i pro.
(2021) 11th gen core i9, 32gb ddr4 ram, 2tb ssd & rtx 3080 16gb vram.
2nd option: Alienware M16 R1
(2023) 13th gen ryzen 9 7840hx, 62gb ddr5 ram, 3tb ssd and rtx 4080 12gb ddr6 vram.
3rd Option: Asus rog strix Scar 16.
(2023) 13th gen core i9 13980hx, 32gb ddr5 ram, 1tb ssd & rtx 4080 12gb ddr6 vram.
4th option: asus rog zephyrus g14.
(2023) 13th gen ryzen 9 7940hx, 16gb ddr5 ram, 512ssd & rtx 4070 8gb ddr6 vram. (Both ram & storage are upgradeable to 32gb & 2tb)
Also feel free to recommend even better options.

Hi, I am going to get a laptop for Revit, Civil 3D and Prokon works.
I ONLY have two options:
1. I7 11800H RTX3060 64gb
2. I5 12450H RTX4050 40gb
Which one do you think is the best option? Thanks.
The First option looks pretty promising since the CPU is better and a bottleneck less likely.
12 gen processor have not much increase in performanc, thus go for either 11gen or 13gen
i got the apple macbook m3 max, primarily for using CLO3D and it works but heats up and starts to lag abit throughout. Don't think Macs are the type for 3D programs
