If you're having issues with Windows Copilot in Europe or surrounding regions, this video shows you how to use it (assuming you have enabled it as seen in this video): ruclips.net/video/MaLfcqBucYY/видео.html
For those who followed all the steps on the video and can see the Copilot icon on the taskbar but cannot open Copilot (was my case), try the following: 1) open the “Task Manager”, 2) Under the ‘Background Processes’ select “Microsoft Edge” and then “End task”. After that, the Copilot icon might work for you too. Not sure this will work for others, but it is working for me. Just sharing.
Today I used Copilot on Win11 (23H2 (22631.2861)). 5 minutes later it was missing. However, your method seemed to work at first. It said: “Successfully set feature cnfiguation(s). After rebooting the PC nothing changed. Copilot is still missing from settings and taskbar.
I did exactly as you instructed and the configurations were set, as it appeared in the message "Successfully set feature configuration(s)", and I rebot my system and it didn't work, it doesn't appear as an option in my taskbar options nor does it appear in my taskbar when I start my computer. I don't know what's going on, because it says it's successfully set but it doesn't work nonetheless... Does anyone know what's going on? I've tried it more than 3 times and did exactly as you said and each time it appeared in the Terminal that message "Successfully set feature configuration(s)" but it doesn't really work for me :(
Thanks man the cmd trick worked..As i didn't even have copilot folder in the windows registry or in taskbar settings..But somehow the cmd trick worked..Thanks again.
Thank you ! the easy steps worked perfectly, I've tried other instructions from others on youtube and never worked but yours worked PERFECTLY, Thank you!
I did the steps and after reboot it doesn't show up anywhere... weird that my laptop has the region set to US even though I live in Europe but my other computer has acces to the copilot right after the update having the same settings 😮
I have Windows version 22H2 OS Build 22621.2715. I followed your steps in detail in the terminal and after the line that says "ViVeTool v0.3.3 - Windows feature configuration tool" the next line says "An error occurred while setting feature configurations in the Runtime store (Access is denied). Can someone tell me what the problem is?
👍 Glad to hear that the guide was helpful in enabling Copilot. It's always great to find a solution to something that you've been working on for a while
I'm in the US, with US installation, steps all appeared to work, but after reboot, nothing new is visible. Does this work with Windows 11 Enterprise? I do have admin rights on this machine. Any help would be appreciated, thank you. Edition: Windows 11 Enterprise Version: 23H2 OS build: 22635.2483 Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22676.1000.0
I live in Europe. Until the latest update in artificial intelligence Copilot worked on the right sidebar. Now there is an entry in the register that failed geographic regions. If this entry is deleted, and set values 0 to 1, Copilot is back. After the restart Copilot disappeared again, and the deleted entry back, and the values 0 again.. 😁
Not saying that video is wrong, it might just be my problem. It doesn't work for me sadly, idk why. Checked version, I have the same as in the video, I've done everything the same as in the video (I've tried it two times, one on my E drive and the other on C drive and it didn't work on either.
I still can't get it to work. I get a confirmation that the settings have taken effect after entering the command in the terminal, but still no sign of Copilot after reboot, nothing under taskbar settings. The only thing Windows + C brings up is Microsoft Teams. I'm sure it will magically pop up some day ;)
I have this problem. for some reason I didn't accept the windows update kb 5030310 in my windows 11 as soon as it came out because it caused problems for many users. today I made the subsequent updates, all of them, and I didn't integrate that one. but today I can't get copilot in my windows in any way, despite this attempt which doesn't make copilot appear anywhere. I tried to manually install kb 5030310 but the system won't let me, and in the windows folders I don't have the presence of copilot in the registers.. what can I do?
Hi! Thank you for the tutorial. Since I enabled Copilot I cannot update my AMD graphic drivers... do you think ViVeTool is the reason behind that? Can I somehow totally delete/disable Copilot and ViVetool somehow? Thanks!
Same problem with me am in the latest 23H2 stable version and it's supposed to be there but it's not even after successfully executing all the steps it's not available
I'm quite disappointed with the copilot tbh.. i thought its going to be ChatGPT intergrated directly into Windows and that it would be able to do crazy stuff like directly access computer and do stuff like analyzing what's wrong, what's that error, or actively helping me while working. Instead its Microsoft Edge's Copilot just on desktop, but still can't do stuff computer-related..
i recently bought a laptop and at first it has the copilot option but then i did turn off and on, (just to know things) and after sometimes the copilot option is gone from taskbar setting
I can't reply with the correct link, but you need an additional command for those country with GDPR like EU, or some other country like Russia, China, etc.
ya so my laptop updated today its windows 10 i clicked copilot button as i had no idea what it was it fucked up my homepage and randomized where the icons are there is no option to disable it and i def dont have that bar thing to pop up to use copilot so its legit just a option that nobody asked for and its messing my computer up for no reason
It seems that Copilot is tied with Edge browser, like this entire sad system is - if you removed Edge or some of it's components You just can't make Copilot work. There are lots of things in this M$ SH that you just are not allowed to do, most aggressive system so far.
Please quit using that screen darkener circle highlight. We know how to look at a mouse pointer, making everything else darker just makes it harder to reference what is going on.

Yeah, I think you can just use the same command you enabled Copilot with, but replace "enable" with "disable" and then you can just delete ViVeTool.
