Microsoft has always been like that. There was a techie joke about what does "95" mean in Windows 95. That is the percentage of things you will never use.

Hi, I agree with you. The Recall feature should not be in our computers. It is a security risk and too big an invasion of privacy. And certainly, I also don't think that many users will use the Recall feature in Windows 11 take care and have a nice day.
Also most people have a laptop with only 500GB of SSD space. Having a "feature" installed which consumes/reserves 50GB of that precious space just to have an automatic search function with a database and thousands of screenshots behind it is just insane. And most of us will probably never (or very rarely) use it. How can you justify an unwanted search function to consume 50GB of storage? But why stay current when you can get more views before you have to make a video stating that changes for the better have been made. Even then he blames others for spewing hysteria which he himself has done repeatedly for years. It's sad that people are so clueless that this guy can make a living off these garbage videos. This channel is nothing but a production mill of fear to get more viewing minutes. It's sad really.
Nah, not fighting with an OS. If I don't like it I won't use it.
Hi Bri I have a strange but annoying issue. I believe it's a motherboard issue but not sure how or if it can be sorted out. I have a Rog Strix B360I Gaming with the latest bios it works just fine with the intel I5 8400 but I have tried two different I7 8700 (non K) chips and both of them thermal throttle with minimal stress even just opening a web browser I currently have a Thermalright BA120 which should be more than enough to cool this chip. I tried out one of the I7 8700's in another board an old Asus H310 and it works just fine even stressed it with CPUID no throttling and barely reached the mid 80's. Core 01 always hits the 100c in the Rog Strix board on both 8700 chips really baffled by this any ideas on what the cause of this is and how to fix it will be greatly appreciated. I know you're going to say use the B310 but that will not fit in my case and I have another project in mind for that.
I'll download it tomorrow. I've been wanting to cripple AI ever since they shoved it down our damn throats.
I see you have "Edge" You're aware they're spying on you through that too, right ? As is Cortana, Online Account, and Windows Timeline... (For now)
You say there's been a 'Total Recall' 🙃
No worries.
they reactivate it on the next update...
confirmed?
You scared!?) you can switch on or off Recall on Windows
What a hassle, I'm switching to Linux
Disable it all you want. Microsoft will only come right behind you and turn it back on with a forced update.
But not to me. Windows 10 was malware enough for me to get rid of it and go to Linux.
My Malwarebytes doesn't like the donotspy site, should I ignore Malwarebytes?
NO!!!! Trusting this fear mongering channel is just as bad as trusting Microsoft.
😂 unknown software to remove software that does stuff you don't want it to do. Security nightmare. 😅
third party software? what could possibly go wrong?
i dont have copilot but i have recall
This feature shouldnt even be on the os period.
I don't want to disable but uninstall, I don't even want it to land on my system in first place. #NoAI
i hear yeah
Forget disabling... just switch to Linux!!!!
I don't want to disable this junk . . . i want to UNINSTALL this garbage
