Yah I know I have the diag Rom. But I can’t sort the short. Well spotted lol 😂. I just went through before and removed all the components on the 5v rail except the resistor arrays and it’s still short to ground :( I tried my blank board and it’s fine redone all the solder passed voltage through the 5v nothing heats up as if the short is in the board
It’s is and expensive lol. 😂 you can source any from the old boards if you have one and it’s a lot of work for it not to work lol 😂 but fun anyhow I’ll get to the bottom of the issue. Thanks for the comment
Yeah always the case with me and these things. I’ve injected 5v though but nothing is getting hot 🥵. lol typical I’ve redone all the joints under the scope tbh I’m at a loss. And now to top it all of I’ve put the chips back in the Amiga that worked and it does naff all lol 😂. But at least it had the 5v lol 😂

@@Retro4u the resistor packs are polarised have a look see if they are in the correct way mate.

I want to make my own too, but the process to source all the part look a pain.
