The intentional choice to wear concert/band tshirts throughout production fits so well. Your process and vision really show through the final product. Right after I watched the music video for the first time, all I could think was "Damn, I wish I could see how this all came together." Solid directing, Mr. Ned Telivison.
So it’s funny because it wasn’t intentional totally, I just like those shirts and have a lot of their merch, and the hippo campus shirt was because I had been at a concert the night before (bought tix b4 I knew when the shoot date was lol)

Seeing "normal" people like Ted put together big shoots like this always makes me feel like I can still be a filmmaker, something I've kinda given up on in favor of being an author. Thank you for the inspiration Ted, the work came out great!

The music video was incredible, and as a tech theater person myself, the way you treated the actors and crew members and all of that is so much better than a lot of the industry. You were definitely the right choice for the video!!
Professional productions with permits, contracts and all that have strict regulations to follow when it comes to treatment on set, so that's not exactly true. However, I am also well aware of the complete toss up that a school's/city's theater production is, as someone who has a sister that's been involved in that for a while now.
I honestly do not get how people want content creators who have interacted with Wilbur for such little time to either take down any videos with him in it or put a disclaimer in comments that they don’t support him. This video is old, it’s obvious that he wouldn’t have known anything at the time. Additionally, there is literally no need for him to even talk about the situation that happened. Yes, what happened with Shubble was bad and I hope she gets support, but Ted isn’t apart of this. All he did was make a music video for a popular band. If he did make a comment on the situation, then so be it. But realistically, he doesn’t need to. Just because your favorite content creator used to interact with now a controversial person doesn’t mean that your favorite content creator needs to speak up on every bad thing that person did. Also, these videos obviously take a lot of work. So asking the guy to just delete it over one controversy over the many is unrealistic. Honestly, I just hate how people try to censor everything connected to a now bad person.
"Bad person" I don't agree with what Wilbur did, but honestly, their are so many people that have done so much worse. People aren't allowed to make mistakes anymore? People aren't allowed to have bad relationships anymore? I wish 13-year-olds would stop taking what happens in someone's personal life and trying to destroy them.
@noahhall3796 So now domestic abuse is a "mistake" and not a crime? The difference between a mistake and the literal crime he did is very big. A mistake can be ACCIDENTALLY biting someone a bit too rough, not literally biting someone when they want you to stop, only for you to bite even harder and say that its your fault for being "weak". I understand you dont agree with what hes done but calling it a "mistake" is like saying the victim is being too sensitive and saying that will make future victims reluctant to tell anyone about the situation they are in.
On my mother's side, three generations up my matriarchy has experienced unspeakable, very real abuse, that left my grandmother with a gimp leg for her life. I don't like to devalue other's experiences, but my mind is having a hard time equating Shelby getting bitten to the beatings my mother, grandmother, and great grandmother received, especially when I am in a relationship that involves my partner biting me to a painful extent, even if I don't appreciate it. Again, I don't want to offend or devalue anyone, my bias is just that I have seen such extreme abuse I am a bit jaded when it comes to abuse. If my great-grandmother was still alive, I have no doubt she would have laughed if we compared Wilbur to her husband, whether that's right or not.@@rivermidst

Typically yes, murder with torture will be more harshly punished than just plain murder. Generally, people would consider there to be levels of depravity, thus we have varying punishments ranging from a fine to the death penalty. @@keithjohnson7893
usually those "behind the scenes" videos are from an artist's point of view so it was really cool to see it all from the perspective of a director! the music video came out fantastically, great job ted!

As a young college student who is currently learning film and television production, this is so great to see! This re-sparks my joy for production seeing everything that goes behind it! I had no clue that Ted had received a degree in film so that's even more inspiring. I hope you had fun creating this Ted, I know I would!

When it comes to any kind of art, I feel like what separates the good from the bad is the love that has been put behind the process. Now imagine me hearing the song, liking it, watching the video, thinking it’s really cool and only after finding out it was made by you! You knocked it out of the park! And such a fantastic job can be done only by someone that truly loves the process!

This is so cool!! I’ve loved music videos since I was young, and recently I’ve discovered that I’d like to pursue making them as well as directing live music shoots as my full time job!
