No. He still hasn't done anything about 343 yet. He is the new chairman and he needs to make these decisions. So far infinite and MCC has gotten worse. It's been 15 minutes and there has been NO results.
It was incredible, really hoping they do more in the future. It reminded my of like a foo fighters/anything video where it really zooms into certain elements of the band and to me it just makes the video even better
The intentional choice to wear concert/band tshirts throughout production fits so well. Your process and vision really show through the final product. Right after I watched the music video for the first time, all I could think was "Damn, I wish I could see how this all came together." Solid directing, Mr. Ned Telivison.
So it’s funny because it wasn’t intentional totally, I just like those shirts and have a lot of their merch, and the hippo campus shirt was because I had been at a concert the night before (bought tix b4 I knew when the shoot date was lol)
Portrait was your favourite, yet your profile pic is the cover for call me what you like, which is another song in that same EP. Something’s not adding up here.
It's funny that now it's clear that Ted made this video during the Margaritaville trip, as mentioned in Eddy's video. I love the Ted Cinematic Universe
i love how ted wore merch from his favorite bands throughout the video and then got to literally direct a music video for another cool band like ted you’re literally winning. this was so cool, i can feel the joy and passion radiating from this video.
Seeing "normal" people like Ted put together big shoots like this always makes me feel like I can still be a filmmaker, something I've kinda given up on in favor of being an author. Thank you for the inspiration Ted, the work came out great!

I loved the music video! I was so excited when I realised you directed it and it makes me want to find more of your stuff. There are too many wills involved in making this video
I know I was thinking that! That had to have made things confusing on set because like Wilbur at least has an alternate name, but the other two are just Will.
When the album first came out, my sibling listened to it before I did and recommended Portrait of a Blank Slate because I’m a sucker for heavy baselines. I continue to listen to it on repeat because it’s my favorite of the entire thing
the song itself is already groundbreaking enough but ted directing for it and having his vision really put it all together. the crew, the silly boys and ted without a doubt did an incredible job
As a young college student who is currently learning film and television production, this is so great to see! This re-sparks my joy for production seeing everything that goes behind it! I had no clue that Ted had received a degree in film so that's even more inspiring. I hope you had fun creating this Ted, I know I would!
I was running out of time for a media college project where I had to analyse a music video so when the music video was released I knew I had to choose it, its insane how much work was put in to this, its amazing and I think my project is neat so, thanks for the happiness that I normally don't get studying media :>
I honestly do not get how people want content creators who have interacted with Wilbur for such little time to either take down any videos with him in it or put a disclaimer in comments that they don’t support him. This video is old, it’s obvious that he wouldn’t have known anything at the time. Additionally, there is literally no need for him to even talk about the situation that happened. Yes, what happened with Shubble was bad and I hope she gets support, but Ted isn’t apart of this. All he did was make a music video for a popular band. If he did make a comment on the situation, then so be it. But realistically, he doesn’t need to. Just because your favorite content creator used to interact with now a controversial person doesn’t mean that your favorite content creator needs to speak up on every bad thing that person did. Also, these videos obviously take a lot of work. So asking the guy to just delete it over one controversy over the many is unrealistic. Honestly, I just hate how people try to censor everything connected to a now bad person.
"Bad person" I don't agree with what Wilbur did, but honestly, their are so many people that have done so much worse. People aren't allowed to make mistakes anymore? People aren't allowed to have bad relationships anymore? I wish 13-year-olds would stop taking what happens in someone's personal life and trying to destroy them.
On my mother's side, three generations up my matriarchy has experienced unspeakable, very real abuse, that left my grandmother with a gimp leg for her life. I don't like to devalue other's experiences, but my mind is having a hard time equating Shelby getting bitten to the beatings my mother, grandmother, and great grandmother received, especially when I am in a relationship that involves my partner biting me to a painful extent, even if I don't appreciate it. Again, I don't want to offend or devalue anyone, my bias is just that I have seen such extreme abuse I am a bit jaded when it comes to abuse. If my great-grandmother was still alive, I have no doubt she would have laughed if we compared Wilbur to her husband, whether that's right or not.@@rivermidst
@@MuchBetterThanBill Got it, a person who horribly tortures and murders someone should go to jail, but someone who just does a little bit of murder shouldn't because they just made a mistake. Makes sense to me!!

You can feel the passion that went into this production from everyone involved, so glad Portrait sparked your creativity. You truly did it justice, the visuals, shots, everything! Bless you Ted for your stellar take on this masterpiece of a song!
When i watched it was literally thinking "this is so weird but i like the shots and how everything's on beat. Its wierd and i love it!" Now it all makes too much sense ESPECIALLY with "make it weirder" "bet"
Also it had such a clear vision that watching it got me thinking about direction as a whole so I actually had ideas for music videos for the other songs on the ep
I literally skipped a bit of class just to watch the music video the second it came out, and I’m saying that as a perfectionist when it comes to grades and someone who hates skipping class, Lovejoy is my lifeline bb. You did amazing directing this Ted!!
Being 100% honest here; befoer this video, I was a small bit confused as to everything happening in the music video, as it was just a lot to consume. However, hearing at the start what everything meant (like all the images being public domain pieces related to what was being said in the moment) really helped to heighten my appreciation for everything within the video. All that is to say amazing work, man. You did incredible!
I love behind the scenes videos like these because you can tell how much work goes into a few minute long video. It makes me appreciate the music video even more. Good job everyone who worked on it!
God it's so cool that we got to see behind the scenes of the production, you guys all did such an amazing job, it turned out phenomenal!!! Getting to see all the work that went into making it really makes it even better
When I watched the music video premiere, I knew the music video HAD to be inspired by Brianstorm by Arctic Monkeys because of all the intercut old film footage clips! The music video is stunning!
when I watched the music video I took a completely different storyline from it but it makes so much sense now that you've explained it, I originally thought they were seeing the medical effects of something (chemicals, radiation etc. ) on the patient and the performance of the song and interspersed clips of cartoon and whatnot were the effects of the miscellaneous experiment and were all happening in his head until it all got too much for his mind to bear so he combusted, leaving the team to evacuate, as they did in the actual storyline. Despite that, this music video was probably one of my favourite music videos ive ever watched, well done to everyone involved.

love seeing the creative process!! i hope this inspires more bands to hire you for their videos
An absolutely professional job, the visuals, the concept, the acting, everything was just so astonishing! Well done Ted, amazing work!
omg he's in the hotels of the margaritaville trip
lmao
I already loved it but after seeing the work that was put into it and hearing teds creative direction and inspirations I definitely appreciate it even more. You did an amazing job ted :)
as someone who inspires to be a film director this was very inspirational. i would love to see more videos like this
This is genuinely my favourite music video ever. Thank you so much for your effort as a director, nobody could have done it better.
Well... Shit.
this was already one of my favorite songs in their new album/ep and the fact that someone who i deeply admire and love directed the music video is truly astonishing to me
ted nivison, the genius that you are 👏 thank you and the entire crew for all your wonderful work on this music video, it was spectacular.
I absolutely love the vision and visuals for the MV plus gotta appreciate the Richard ayoade arctic monkeys influence
You can feel the passion that went into this production from everyone involved, so glad Portrait sparked your creativity. You truly did it justice, the visuals, shots, everything! Bless you Ted for your stellar take on this masterpiece of a song!
Please please pleasseee keep getting the director itch. I cant wait for the next project you do man this was phenomenal
TED!!! I have the same Hippo Campus shirt. Love to see you repping such an amazing band!
When i watched it was literally thinking "this is so weird but i like the shots and how everything's on beat. Its wierd and i love it!"
Now it all makes too much sense ESPECIALLY with "make it weirder" "bet"
Also it had such a clear vision that watching it got me thinking about direction as a whole so I actually had ideas for music videos for the other songs on the ep
I loved this music video ted! Great job 👍
Ted, it always amazes me how well you can take an idea and just run with it. Massive respect to you and the team!
I haven't seen the music video yet but from the first concepts i already KNOW I'm gonna love it!
I want you to have another itch because that itch was incredible
MARGARITAVILLE HOTEL????
this is honestly my fav music video ever created like it just feels so cool and chaotic and it perfectly matches the vibe the song gives off
I love behind the scenes videos like these because you can tell how much work goes into a few minute long video. It makes me appreciate the music video even more. Good job everyone who worked on it!
God it's so cool that we got to see behind the scenes of the production, you guys all did such an amazing job, it turned out phenomenal!!! Getting to see all the work that went into making it really makes it even better
For such a relatively last-minute 1 day shoot for a music video, you did a bangin job!
When I watched the music video premiere, I knew the music video HAD to be inspired by Brianstorm by Arctic Monkeys because of all the intercut old film footage clips! The music video is stunning!
I'm a film student in London who's also into Lovejoy. And i watched music video two days ago. I commend ya on the shoot, honestly.
when I watched the music video I took a completely different storyline from it but it makes so much sense now that you've explained it, I originally thought they were seeing the medical effects of something (chemicals, radiation etc. ) on the patient and the performance of the song and interspersed clips of cartoon and whatnot were the effects of the miscellaneous experiment and were all happening in his head until it all got too much for his mind to bear so he combusted, leaving the team to evacuate, as they did in the actual storyline. Despite that, this music video was probably one of my favourite music videos ive ever watched, well done to everyone involved.
