    Those are sweet bikes. They were really expensive when they came out, so there is not alot of them around.

    I'm from the UK and my dad has 2 honda VF 1000 bol dor f2's and they're identical and have been in the garage for the last 20yrs and he's decided to sell them both, they're in fair condition but not been started in 20yrs but the motors in both are free, asking £1500 for both. I've ridden them and they are amazing bikes and they won the production Isle of Man TT race using the same model.

    Too bad she's not a red DCT. Candy Red with a semi-auto. Keeping mine for life. Best bikes ever. Also MUST get a akra. Sounds creamy, smooth, exotic. Dam(one here) sounds tinny, raspy and cheap. Not to different from oem, just louder. Trust me...... Akra.... 100%

    I pick up a 2014 VFR1200 with 8500km on the clock tomorrow. Test rode it yesterday and was really happy with it. Just a few things that i will be changing for my own liking, similar to this guys ride. Can anyone tell me what the seat is that he is using, as the stock is extremely slippery. I'll be going for the same Puig screen he has, and considering Heli risers also, maybe with heated bars at some point to.
    The FTR 1200 Carbon can be parked up and stored away now

    170HP thats insane, that thing is built to last, with the shaft in the back, basically a two wheel tank,Im sure it has plenty of miles and still sounds like it just pulled out of the dealer. There is no bike more reliable then honda. You treat it right it will treat u right, shit even if u neglect and beat the piss out of them their still gonna start and ride.

      I totally get how they distribute the power and that is simply the geniuses at Honda cause that is what they are, however I strongly disagree about the vfr even hanging with any 1000rr first of all the 170hp is geared for touring/cruising they just wanted to be sure it would have enough balls to climb big hills and shit like that and u have to factor the drive shaft in that takes something like 20% of the power from the crank away from the equation but it will never break .ever.I have an 87 cbr1000 and an 08 cbr1000rr the 87 made 105 hp and it’s heavy as shit but it looks real good and that bike is proof they are geniuses 1987 they put a hydraulic clutch on it and it still starts and runs perfect today nothing has ever been opened on anything 37k miles but I would feel some kind of way if that big awkward looking vfr came past me on my 08 . Anyway so 3 yrs ago I bought a new Harley dyna S all my friends had harleys and I figured fuck it never owning one grew on on CR’s and cbrs 20k miles shit started breaking the clutch basket shattered cause the bike came with to much compression and it finally couldn’t take any more I’m stranded at a Sunoco called the dealer and said pick it up here I’m getting a cab they fixed it and the compression recall but the bike gets so hot if i have to sit at a long light forget stopping in traffic it gets well into the 320 range which is rediculous told the dealer they said it’s normal ride it well m not letting my bike get anywhere near 300 so if I’m on it I split lanes go around any traffic yea I’m that asshole cause if I stop my bike gets to hot what I’m saying is I have so much respect for these Japanese ppl after buying an American v twin, the vfr is cool but even if it has the power who wants to race on that it’s not made for racing at least IMO I totally got what u were saying and the new cbr sp1000rrr I would give a nut to have that ,it’s 23k or something thinking I spent 18 on the dyna 5k more I could of bought one and I learned to accept the Harley is what it is and I do love riding it but it’s loud looks cool but it’s like a vacation hoping on either Honda that’s a fact and I hate arguing with Harley guys but this is facts I am not mAking shit up I own a Harley and when i had to get a cab and this hot chic who owns the gas station saw my brand new Harley dead at the pump yea I will never forget that she said the thing is brand new I said tell me about it

      Kept up all the way to 160 with the Aprilia in the other video. We even switched bikes and produced the same results. He is now considering the VFR as a second bike to go touring with his lovely wife. All because of that unexpected power on top of long distance comfort

      170 standard. Upto 190 flashed. 280kph easy. 273kg though. Not 200kg, to be kept in mind.

    Nice bike, with all due respect a second gen Yamaha fjr 1300 is top dog. Super fast, sexy, motorized windshield up or down, ae models are paddle shift no clutch lever needed, kickstand and center stand, glove box , with USB port, adjustable seat and suspension, adjustable fairings to direct heat from engine onto rider in the winter sure theirs more standard i am forgetting at the moment

      IMO does not ride as well as the VFR
      But if i was touring "relaxed paced" sure the FJR
      The engine on the honda is monster, and it handles fantatic
      FJR has the tech tho

    If it just had the firing order of the vfr 750...

    • @Paul_Zernick

      Sounds shitty mostly due to the dam exhaust. Chuck on a akra whole different sound. Cleaner, smoother, creamier more exotic. This one has a dam. Sounds broken. Oem is no better. Akra. Worth every cent.

    • @firstielasty1162
      @firstielasty1162 2 года назад +1

      I agree on the firing order...it needs a 180 degree crank. As it is, it sounds like an angry blender. The exhaust cannot change it, it doesn't work that way. Vfr750's sound great, this does not. I am a Honda fan, this is probably a great bike, but the sound is unfortunate, and matters quite a bit to me.
